I think everyone's powers are getting stronger, based around the group's mumbling at the end when sunset asked if anyone else was noticing a sudden increase in their abilities.


I'm kind of looking forward to what Pinkie's ends up doing seeing as hers is the most problematic for a power that gets out of control (which is to say probably the most HUMOROUS based on the end of legend of everfree :p)

That means Pinkie will have to stay away from things that are susceptible to exploding as a result of her confectionary.

Are we sure that this is a short? Because this kinda feels like part of the first episode of the Youtube series coming next yeard.

The girls dealing with their powers becoming stronger seems like an actual important plot point and not something that would be thrown away into a simple short.

But than again that's just me, and what I would like to see the series focus on.

The youtube series I think will be a series of shorts (like 5-10 minutes), so the term "short" is probably still a valid description.

I feel the exact same way. Not to mention the animation appears to be DHX, marking this as a higher priority than the majority of the recent shorts.

Also worth noting is that, starting November, there's a Choose Your Own Adventure series. There's not much to say about it though, since what the EQD post says about it is kind of vague in a way that's hard to understand. What I am wondering is whether or not this is the series that Hasbro announced. I wouldn't be disappointed by any stretch, especially considering the Overpowered thing says we're getting a good amount of fully animated stories in the near future, but still.

That'd actually be a clever method to show what happened instead of them saying it.

If Sunset's powers is getting stronger, then the others is probably experiencing the same thing: like twilight is magneto; rainbow dash is the flash; rarity is Violet (from the incredibles (minus invincibility)); pinkie pie is of course pryo; applejack is probably the she-hulk; and Fluttershy could be vixen.

Unless pinkie has to wear special gloves to prevent something like that ever happening.

Hopefully, they can continue to control their magic otherwise things are going to get much worse.

I'm quite confused over what this even will be, format-wise. All sources say this is a short, and yet it looks like far too much story to fit in 3 minutes. Is it going to be a longer short than the other ones we've gotten, like 7-10 minutes, or something? Because it almost looks as though the announced series is that Choose Your Own Adventure thing that was also announced at Hascon, though even that's kind of hard to tell as of now.
