Hello Everypony :3

I just tought that i would upload some old photoshop pictures I've made a long time ago

say what you think and give tips & tricks on how to improve... cuz i have much to learn

I know they are all very simple but as I said theese are old pictures from back when i was just starting with photoshop :3

I have no clue on how to put them in a spoiler so please tell me or live with it x)

Now for the images, you seem to have a very good eye for design providing that those were indeed made from scratch excluding the last threes symbols. The only thing I could say is that they tend to be maybe too blurred.

 

You should ALWAYS save your images as pngs so I won't mention any of the possible damage that the file format might have caused.

 

1st: Maybe get some cleaner arrow vectors or make a more expansive outer glow, the shallow outer glow on some of the pieces makes it seem ever so slightly blurred as to diminish the unity in the picture.

 

2nd: My favorite one not much bad about it except maybe slightly less blurring

 

3rd: Cleaner initial graphics, the general line qualitiy seems lower in this one.

 

4th: For what this one is, its fine although, from your other pieces, you could have come up with a better design perhaps.

 

5th: The only thing with this one is the symbol in the middle has bad line quality. Depending on how you got it, you might want to get a better vector, initial graphic or maybe google some wand tool tricks.

 

6th: Very good, but the graphics around the border are far to blurred from what looks like enlargement.

 

These were very good and a lot of the problems were either minor or easy to fix.

General notes: Never enlarge, ever, unless its in vector format.

save in png

and as much as you want your name to be on your wallpapers, it takes away from the piece, so either make it less noticeable or don't put it on there at all.

also, your later ones were fine, but your first three were in a resolution that doesn't really exist so it would come out distorted slightly. Be sure to keep the sizes to one of these http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_resolution_higher.asp bigger is better :3

 

I think that's it. Don't take my comments negatively. I am eager to see you improve with your newer stuff

I will deffinately think about all these things in the future :3

and about the resolution... xD as i said theese are old and i didnt reallly know much about resolution and such when i made them
