Um, what about the whole big banquette thing that was to be held for students and staff? And I'd like to run the through the first day of classes, if not the first class for everyone. Also I want to RP the whole disciplinary investigation, as I can see that playing out like a courtroom drama of sorts.

That was just evening dinner. It was intended to be something of a get-together for characters to mingle, but I suspect too much has happened for any character to be in the mood for idle mingling, not to mention that most characters already banded up for a while in the duel and its aftermath as it is.

This could be compromised, if classes (and the disciplinary investigation) were postponed several days for campus cleanup, although it would mean that the timeskip couldn't be more than a week, since learning must go on.

What are your thoughts on this, @Buck Testa, @dragon4111, @reader8363?

@DualityIra: You can be certain that she'd be defending herself with arms and legs, as even though the following incident was partially caused by her, her intent, unlike the duellers, was completely good. She wasn't trying to make anything happen, but she was opting to taking care of Ghalan since it was quite obvious to her that he was in no state to be doing anything. Basically, her reasoning would be that if you're really going to punish her for trying to (in her eyes, as she didn't know if Ghalan was in good or bad state) potentially, just maybe save lives, then she'll have no further reason to remain compassionate. Of course, she won't say that openly, right now you're deciding on how Ira's personality will change based on what decision is made. But her position is unshaken on this, and any doubts she has about how truthful it is she leaves to herself.

As for her development with others...

Doubt anything would change with her relations between @Duality, @Denim&Venom (she despises Miko on a personal level so nothing changes here xD, and Mindie didn't do anything wrong really), @Arid_Blitz and @reader8363 characters.

@Buck TestaDru would be, after finally having heard of what happened, on an absolute black list in her books. Dangerous, uncontrolled, absolutely out of bounds. Completely new at Uni as well. She will have no faith in the child and will remain at edge, distrustful towards her based on what she did on a whim to the hall and one of his old friends.

Speaking of said old friend, obviously the reason she wanted to help Ghalan is because he's one of the people on the campus whom she cares for more than the others. It all depends on his actions and I am asking @dragon4111 to react absolutely naturally. I already have planned out both behavioristic patterns for her if he A: Tries to shift the blame to her as well. B: Complies with her theory that if he didn't get himself in his state, all of this would never have taken place. Or C: Something else that Dragon4111 comes up with But it's up to him. Saying that, think what Ghalan would realistically do according to his personality~! Any choice will be an interesting one in the end.

 

Ley: Now this is more fun case for me. Obviously, after learning what transpired in the duelling hall, her any faith in the faculty will drop near zero. She'll never learn who failed the security measures, since I doubt this detail will be public, but she won't accept any aid offers from the teachers. As for Wave Particle, you can be CERTAIN that during their first accidental meeting with her Ley would say literally "Told you so." instead of greeting. Now the question is whether @Duality considers it realistic the two would not meet during the timeskip frame. I can have Ley feign ignorance about the events so that we don't have to discuss them IC. If they would meet, the sentence will not happen which will be a shame, but more realistic xD But if they wouldn't, well you know the outcome.

@dragon4111She'd still have Ghalan in really low regard, after all he was defeated basically beaten up by a child. Ley has really no respect for those who cannot stand their ground on their own.

Dru - this one's on @Buck Testa's already technically they are supposed to live next to each other. Ley would certainly be curious about Dru, to a point she'd have respect towards the girl but she'd never show it obviously. Her behaviour might give that away scarcely, but that's all. Other then that... Ley doesn't really go well with kids Dru's age, she'd consider her as a mild annoyance she actually needs to get along with to learn more about her. As for her ability to wreck the hall, Ley wouldn't believe it quite honestly, on nobody's accounts. The replay of the duel would not be available for her, but she'd be blocking off the possibility that Dru was the one to destroy the hall and would be constantly convincing herself Ghalan had a say there as well. Least in the public, of course. Inside, she'd be absolutely cautious about the girl. To make it TL:DR, she'd be playing dumb not believing the gossip, but in reality she'd be completely convinced this is a possibility, if not the truth.

As for their dorm life... I'm wondering already, will she be that annoying kid that peeks into the room every now and then for no reason at all just to give Ley headaches? We can assume that the supposed door currently have no lock, or they have a lock but if Ley locks it, Dru just keeps shouting through the doors or banging on them and stuff to get her attention, what is even worse xD And the question is would she be up and running by now, or you plan to have her awake only by the end of timeskip, what means Ley will have NO idea who's living the next door. She'd have no reason to open it and distrupt herself in her study.

Spoiled in the sense that I'm used to playing with people who know what they are doing, and DONT throw temper tantrums and godmod when they dont get their way to the letter.

Duality would most probably be inundated with mounds of paperwork during those few days, and if classes are postponed until the end of the timeskip due to all the things that need to be sorted out around campus in the meantime then it's quite feasible that they wouldn't meet during that time. Keep that sentence prepped.

Would it be too stalkerish to assume Dru's first class as Duality's own? I've been tossing up whether to play the coincidence card or just have the professor potter around until a later class.
