ggg-2 3,552 February 1, 2018 Share February 1, 2018 G5 is set to start as early as 2020, so, when all is said and done, do you think Discovery Family will rerun FIM? 1 Don't be a nerd. Join the herd!
Steve Piranha 29,413 February 1, 2018 Share February 1, 2018 It's very likely. Discovery Family don't have much to air anyway 3 Sig by Discords
PiratePony 8,475 February 1, 2018 Share February 1, 2018 If they can still make $$$ on as seen on TV commercials then yes. Courtesy of @Sparklefan1234
PinkiePie97 913 February 1, 2018 Share February 1, 2018 (edited) Unless Hasbro is no longer involved in the channel at that point, very likely. Even though Littlest Pet Shop ended 2 years ago and has a new series coming later this year, it’s still the second most aired show on the network. Rhythm Red 6,484 February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 I'm sure it will. It'll probably be there for a long time too. MLP Forums' own PUNK ROCK pony! Alternative rock, pop punk, punk rock, and a lil’ bit of emo.

cmarston1 5,959 February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 (edited) Assuming the channel is still around after FiM ends, then probably. Edited February 2, 2018 by cmarston1
Ganondorf8 11,259 February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 Until Hasbro says otherwise, the show will continue to air on Discovery Family as reruns when the show has run its complete course.
Prospekt 11,018 February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 I've noticed Discovery Family air G3 stuff every now and then, even in the era of G4, so I can't see Hasbro abandoning reruns of the even more successful iteration of the franchise. The problem, though, is that Discovery Family hasn't exactly been doing well, even though FiM has done remarkably well. I remember some speculation over the past couple of years that the channel could tank and FiM would just resume online via streaming services. So yes, I think reruns will continue, but only if Discovery Family survives and Hasbro decides to stay with it. Signature by Kyoshi

You can still watch G3 stuff there, so why not the vastly more successful G4? 1 Sig by Discords

Singe 2,111 February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 (edited) There is Universal Kids which is carrying DHX Inspector Gadget and the recent KidsClickTV which airs shows on local TV morning like Miraculous Ladybug. Here No Longer 5,276 February 2, 2018 Share February 2, 2018 It gets FAR too much viewership for it NOT to get reruns.
FirePuppy 731 February 5, 2018 Share February 5, 2018 Universal Kids replaced Sprout. Maybe Discovery Family can meet that same fate and become a different channel name itself, but still keep the same channel number.
