It's certainly interesting, sounds like something you might hear on the pony town soundtrack.

I'd say that's along the of African and Indian drum beats. Almost sounds like one of those chanting songs if someone were to vocalize over it. But that middle part has an oriental melody, so in the end you could call it world fusion, a very unique and nice combination indeed. Love those chorused semi-plucked sine pads you had running through the middle of the track and nice visuals as well. All in all, a very nice track. I could certainly use this as study music.
