Most rented games

Renting games from a store was always something I looked forward to when I was younger. Being able to experience a new title in full for cheap was always great. As such, some games I rented more than others for whatever reason. Probably loving the game but lacked the funds for full purchase.

What are some games that you all rented a bunch?

One in particular I rented several times was True Crime Streets of LA. I remember renting it on a whim and ended up loving it. I ended up renting it at least 4 or 5 times, which is a lot for me. I would spend hours just frisking people. XD

I also remember renting World's Scariest Police Chases on PS1 multiple times. Not sure why eithrr, the game wasn't spectacular. I think it was the idea of BEING the police. Same thing with True Crime actually. Ironic. :P

@Kyoshi

Is renting Games still a thing? Because Blockbuster's been dead for years.

Back in my day with Blockbuster, it was obviously N64 and Gamecube games. I did play this "Disney's Magical Mirror Starring Mickey Mouse" Game for GC that was too short and lacking in major content. but the upside is because the short length and easy to 100% complete it, it was actually perfect for being a rental for the the week instead of a permanent buy.:P

Back in the Blockbuster days, I've rented many games, but I think Bomberman Hero for N64 was the one I've rented the most

It's been a very long time since I've ever rented a game from Blockbuster, or any other store. I remember renting Mario Party 2, a lot. I also remember renting the original Mario Party a few times. It was fun when I played against my sister or my dad, but I always played against the computer players. When the sequel came out, I was really psyched and kept renting the game multiple times.

Another game that I rented a lot would have to be Pokemon Snap. I liked the idea of taking photos of Pokemon, instead of catching them and going through gyms. I also remember Blockbuster would have a machine that would print out the best pictures of the Pokemon you photographed. I thought it was a cool idea and an interesting incentive to rent the game.

The last game I remember renting a lot was Pokemon Stadium 2. I really loved how you could play your favorite Pokemon, as they were seen in 3D. The mini games and other features were addictive and entertaining to play, that it gave me more of a reason to rent the game multiple times. I never really got far in the game, but it was still a lot of fun to rent the game from Blockbuster. :)

When I had a Super Nintendo and N64, I remember renting Final Fight, Super Smash Bros and Super Mario 64 several times

It's been soooo many years. I probably don't even remember. However, the game that comes to mind immediately is Paper Mario. I rented that game quite a few times before I finally got it for myself.

I mostly rented Lego Star Wars and Super Smash Bros. I eventually bought SSB myself, but I haven't played Lego Star Wars since then.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I used to rent games from Family Video... mostly Mario, Sonic, or Zelda spin-off games that looked like they'd be fun for an afternoon but not for much longer than that.

Maybe I should go back there and find another game to rent sometime :ooh:
