Hmm, it’s close, but I’d say the Greeks. The Egyptians has the pyramids, true, but the Greeks were just something else when it came to mathematics and architecture. :)

Neither and both. As a student, lover, and enthusiast of history in general; I find them both to be the 'best,' alongside Persian, Chinese, what-have-you. :)

I would say that it would be the Greeks. You can't underestimate the achievements of the Egyptians but in general I like the look of Greek architecture much more than Egyptian. I do understand though that both civilizations were thousands of years apart, so the Greeks had an edge up technologically wise.

Both have made impressively long-lasting structures. But as far as complexity and aesthetics I would say the greeks win hands down. Their buildings are just amazing.

The Egyptians all the way. While both are impressive, the Egyptians have more groundbreaking architecture, much of which baffles archaeologists and architects to this day. The Romans have a somewhat more mainstream albeit mind-boggling style. I think the Romans architecture is probably prettier to look at, but I'm going with Egypt for the win here.

I have extremely little knowledge of architecture, so I couldn't really say which is 'objectively' better, if such a thing even exists. However, I will say I have always been fascinated with the aesthetics of ancient Greek architecture. It just looks so cool. I don't know how else to describe it. The Egyptians were really impressive with the pyramids, but I honestly don't know much else about their architecture.

When Chinese architecture barely gets a mention. :(

I'll go with the Greeks, though. Ancient Egyptian architecture is incredible but ultimately Greek architecture is a bit more aesthetically pleasing. There's a reason why it's been revived many times in modern architecture.

Egyptian by far, the way they  math things out is just incredible, plus they were the first to start the architect cultures.
