Assuming my animals were coming with me (I would give my whole life and then some for them, so otherwise would not be a fair question), absolutely.

Their society is much more hopeful and kind than ours. All the things I find beautiful about this world would still be there, plus some extra magical beautiful things - I can only imagine how cool a hike through those forests is. My physical issues would have magic to help soothe them. I love music and movies which I would probably be leaving, but they have their own music and plays that I would love to see, too. Also, I've been known to have some pretty crazy nightmares, and I've often wondered what Luna would say about them if she saw.

I wanna live in Equestria!

I recommend Equestria!
If you can friend in Equestria
Life is all fair in Equestria!
If you're a  mare in Equestria

Skyscrapers bloom in Equestria!
Wagons zoom in Equestria!
Friendships boom in Equestria!
12 to a room in Equestria

Lots of new housing with more space
(Lots of doors slamming in our face)
I'll get a cloudsdale apartment
Better get some wings then

Buying a pony is so nice
One look at us and they charge twice
I will have rides twice daily
Until one mounts you heavily

Maybe one day we all can really live in Equestria? I mean, who knows? Maybe in the afterlife and until then we can make our world (metaphorically) more like it. Like if we create a new religion called Celestianism and live according to its teachings and rules.

That would be my dream. I would leave everything behind immediately.

We are all welcome there, if we only believe.

I unironically believe Equestria and those pastel ponies are real.

You are not alone. That's why I believe in Celestianism.

@Lawyer Slip You don't have to choose, you can believe in friendship and harmony as an ideology.

And sorry mods for going of topic.

When we get Celestianism going there will be priests who can baptise you in the name of your best pony into our new community.

No way, too much crazy stuff and chaos happens in Equestria, It's not like it doesn't happen in our real world either, but in Equestria it's another level, full of magic that can lead to catastrophes, many dangerous places and creatures too, no no no no, I'm fine in my home with peace :P

I'd love to, but Rafa makes a great point. Very dangerous. :sealed:

I'd still live there tho lol. As long as I'm in Ponyville I'm probably safe.

The real world is too much... :BornAgainBrony:

I wud most defiantly move to equestria if the opportunity presented itself I mean it wud be a lot friendlier than back here on earth and as an engineering enthusiast I think id find a good life bringing modern technology, internal combustion engine computers airplanes etcetera, to equestria. assuming I get there during or just after g4 and not during g5 or somwhere in the fallout equestria timeline.

  • 1 year later...

It would be conditional, but yes, they would have to have safeguards against foreign aggression though, which is why in my MLP fanfic I separated both Equestria and the human world divide with the Bardo afterlife system, transmigration and the multiverse, with a path to enlightenment story plot in an alternate timeline where you could join the characters, background, secondary and main, at the start of their adventure.

With the messed up moral values people have in our world, you would not want those being taken over to a lovely fictional place like Equestria, trust me on that one. How would it even work? say if this fantasy could come true for the sake of discussion, a fantasy world scenario where you did end up in Equestria, you would need to adjust to their social norms, otherwise there would be a conflict, in my view such a thing could only feasibly happen if you were born and raised there.

I'd give up any material possession to do this, I don't care, comics, video games, computers, does not matter, friendship there would mean far more to me than anything petty like that. If I had to give up friends however that becomes a problem, I would not trade them to live in a world like that under any circumstance, if their lives were spared however, if it did not come with the drawback of human sacrifice or anything sadistic like that,, then yes I'd do this.

But if given that wish, say if I could in a fantasy world scenario like in my fanfic where Luna reached out to me and others who she thought should be given a chance after consenting to this, and if it did not come with any price that was too steep to pay, I'd choose that afterlife, as a Pegasi. I've had it with this genocidal hellscape of a planet and I want out.

Only if my family was there with me.

That is a lovely and selfless wish. I am not sure my family would want the same if this fantasy could come true which it never will. But yeah, I'd request that to be done at least if I could, but I could not force it on them. If not, I'd go on my own after my current life was over by natural causes, by that time chances are they'd be dead anyway, I'd be lucky if I still have my brothers by the time I'm pension age.

Rarity lets me stay at Carousel Boutique since we've been Best Friends for years. She's awesome!😁

Agreed, some people don't like Rarity but I love her humour

she is somepony I could see myself having a wonderful time with in the yearly or quarterly visits we'd have if we were in that fictional world with her.

Helping her mine for gemstones to feed Spike the dragon, I suppose would be one of our regular outings, what fun!

Probably not...I don't doubt that living in Equestria and going on the same adventures as my Ponysona would be a wonderful adventure, but I don't want to suddenly leave this world forever. This world isn't perfect and there's a lot of bad things here, but I don't want to leave my family and friends since I still have things I want to do and goals to achieve. I would prefer the option to be somehow reincarnated as a pony in the far future

In a fantasy world scenario where that could come true, I would not be in a hurry to die just for that either, because I have friends here like you do. Throwing my life away just because of that, even in a fantasy world scenario where it would happen would be stupid. If terminal illness were the issue it would be a different matter altogether. Getting that wish in the future would be nice, I'd like to become a Pegasi and fly in Equestria and meet new friends there, but it will never happen, and in that imaginary scenario where it did, I'd want it to come after old age or something like that. I wrote a fan fiction about that some time ago.

Even the idea of reincarnation in fiction would be scary if it did happen, because mortal pain would be felt from one life to the next, doesn't matter which world you go to. In Buddhist traditions this is believed to occur on Earth repeatedly until a person reaches Nirvana, then they escape Samsara, but again, that is only mythology.
