Through a Google search! I was doing more research on MLP and one of the MLPF threads came up with the answer!

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

My friends compared me with Pinkie Pie and I thought... "I'm a Pinkie Pie? What's a Pinkie Pie?" I'm only on Season 2 so no spoilers, please! =)

Heya everypony!

I am here because, months ago, my friends were drawing parallels between us and My Little Pony characters and they very confidently said I was Pinkie Pie!  Well...  I thought "What in the world is a Pinkie Pie?"  I had to find out.  

Today, I find Pinkie Pie and I have some real things in common...  For one thing, I really love to laugh, but even more, I like helping others find joy and enlightenment too!  I love a good joke or pun (as long as everyone's laughing - I like to laugh with not at if you get my meaning).  I like some of the profound wisdom and insight that comes out of Pinkie's unusual brain.  See, I was born with hyperkinetic disorder (ever heard of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder?  Well, if ADHD were pizza toppings, I am a supreme pizza with extra cheeeeeeese!).  While ADHD/hyperkinetic disorder (more of a syndrome than a disorder, really) goes away for a scant few people, for most of us, it doesn't have a cure.  I honestly don't know what life is like without it   So, if you know a pony with ADD/ADHD and you'd like some help in that direction, please contact me!  Like autism, ADHD is like a rainbow; it is a spectrum.  Sometimes figuring out where you are in the spectrum can be lots of fun!  =)

So what does that mean?  

1. In my case, it means what you see with me is what you get.  If you ask my opinion, I'll give you the facts as I see them.  Just be ready for honesty; I believe it is very hard to improve without it.

2. As you've probably noticed, I talk excessively.  I've got a Ferrari brain... but with bicycle brakes (and kudos to anyone who gets the reference!)!  

3. I have a multitude of hobbies - role-playing, martial arts, reading, writing, and video games, among others.  I like learning and chatting about them!  =)

Now, thanks to my friends, I really find myself relating well with Pinkie Pie and I see how my friends came so quickly and easily to their conclusion.  I think it's quite a compliment to be compared with Pinkie!  She's a fun-loving, wise-in-her-own-wacky-way, trip of a person who means well.  I like that about her.  Plus, I'm proud to be a Brony!  =)

I've been lurking here on MLPF for about a week now and I like what I'm seeing!  Most people are warm here.  TheTaZe has a terrific banner, I like ~C. Discord~'s sticky on how to make welcoming feel warmer (welcome back, ~C. Discord~!), I really enjoyed Quint's fanfic reading yesterday (on Discord, Great Oak Library), and Rikifive has a very cool avatar, but I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to (Discord names) Aelwen (here known as Mercury) and Dark Horse (Poniverse staff - name unknown here).  They *really* helped me feel comfortable joining MLPF!  Thanks, you two!  =)

I am very new to My Little Pony, so No Spoilers Please!!  I'm only on Season Two (just finished "The Mysterious Mare Do Well" episode - great lesson!).

@Rixton  I know that feeling!  Some of my best characters evolve and grow like real people.  It's fun to go back and read old posts; sometimes they seem to jump off the page like a good comic book or manga!  =)

HEY!  @~C. Discord~!  Not so fast!  Where's that chocolate milk storm I asked for on your welcome back page?!  =)  And thanks for the welcome! =)

@Totally Spicy BronyNumber 2A Well... I'm researching Pathfinder 2.0 Playtest right now (though I've played everything from D&D Expert to D&D 1.0 through D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder 1.0).  I'm a fan of Palladium's Rifts and Robotech series (but they lost the rights to Robotech,darned it!), and older White Wolf (especially Werewolf: the Apocalypse).  Cyberpunk 2020 was a blast too (can't wait for the Cyberpunk 2077 game!  The 48 minute walkthrough is good!).  

As for video games, this year I've played Final Fantasy 14 (good times!), Divinity Original Sin 2 (kinda fun, very creative), Warframe (though I'm often bored with it), ShadowRun (by Hare Brained Schemes - good stories!), and BattleTech (repetitive, but the combat and upgrading is kind of fun).  I like Lord of the Rings Online (there are some great people there!), and I'm wondering if I should get into Monster Hunter: World (for PC).  

How about you?  And what do you go by?  "Spicy"?  If so, does that mean you're hot stuff?  Heh!  Really, what do you prefer to be called?  =)

I love classic D&D, which is 2nd ed and older. I have about 75% of a complete collection of original through 2nd ed.

I collect video games more than I play. I have pretty much every console. I also love cartoons.

So that makes you Cool Stuff?  Do I call you "Totally"?  =)

I remember playing D&D 2nd Edition!  Except for the writing style, it was so close to being 1st Edition, it was unreal.  I miss 1st Edition's intelligent sense of freedom and the fantastic spirit of the game (Create!  Explore!  Go wild!  Together!  Make each game your own!).  I include those qualities in the games I run because I remain convinced that those were days in gaming that we won't ever see again.  Most folks like Gygax and Arneson have passed on, which is a pity for the gaming world (though Ed Greenwood, creator of Forgotten Realms, is still around).  Still, there are advantages to gaming today.  Like, you can't beat having all those Dragon Magazines, issues #1-250 for free in .pdf form, can you?  Try finding those without paying through the nose.  And talk about a blast from the past, right?  Wow!
