Dragon Lands vs Baltimare

Baltimare and Dragon Lands face in other in their first game of the World Cup. Will Ember lead her team to victory?

 

Ember leads a team of Buffy (our own MLPF Mascot) and Pear Butter. Sunburst is on a team with his mother Stellar Flare (so that may be interesting). My prediction is that Dragon Lands will probably pull this one out.

The Earth Pony exclaimed her shot as she bucked the head sized ball over a caped stallion's head and directly into Embers waiting reach. The dragon scored easily, bring a smile to Pear Butter's face. The smile, one of satisfaction at seeming her teammate's success, changed to a smile of appreciation as she witnessed Stellar Flare trot up to Sunburst to give him a hug of faith and reassurance. The bond between a parent and child was always something that invoked joy in Pear Butter. She took the momentary break to turn toward the sidelines, which she saw them ... Mac, Applejack, and Applebloom. They were here, watching her play. They were of course cheering, but there was a melancholy that she recognized in their faces. The same melancholy that she saw often in her husband's eyes when they he looked upon how amazing their children have become. Pear guessed that they likely thought her to be a dream like that dark unicorn that is always bickering with Princess Luna ... yet her kids treated her with the reverence of a longed for and curated memory. She didn't know how she wound up here with Bright Mac, but she didn't care, her family was here and she wanted to savor this moment.

I have a feeling that Ember and Pear Butter are using their 'presence' to secure victory today. Not that it's a bad thing mind you.
