The title is self explanatory. Who would win if Alicorn Amulet Trixie and Inspiration Manifestation Rarity fight?

Just by their own without any interruption or help by others. If one of them gets unconscious or surrenders, she loses.

You have to give an answer with reasons based on the canon TV show.

Trixie isn't the brightest pony by all accounts but she immediately set about ruling over Ponyville. The biggest downside for her is that she becomes unnecessarily cruel to others. She loses her power if she voluntarily removes the Alicorn Amulet.

Rarity was too closeminded, or better yet! Clothes minded. Her focus was on improving the appearance of Ponyville and eventually Equestria regardless of the impracticalities. Eventually she doesn't need the book in order to use her new founded magic, but all it took was Spike to speak out and disagree with what she was doing for her to stop. She was being generous by being secretive and not allowing anypony the chance to credit her for what she'd done. For all we know, anyone saying her choices were awful could make her stop, or maybe there's a catch here in that it has to be said by someone whose opinion she genuinely cares about.

It's difficult to say which artifact is more powerful. Something that permits you the abilities of the most powerful ponies known, or something that allows what you imagine to become reality. Both affect the mind of the user, however Rarity seemed to be more negatively impacted. Something we also shouldn't overlook was that she stayed up all night and chose to skip breakfast. She will eventually wear herself down and lose from exhaustion.

I also really want to highlight the impracticalities because Rarity turned the town center to crystal and accidently trapped two ponies inside because she forgot to include doors or windows. I can see her summoning an airship to aid her in the fight but it can't move because the coal for the engine wasn't pretty so they're turned to crystals, or she has the outside lined with gold and jewels that weigh it down to the point it crashes. Meanwhile I think Trixie would have one dark and menacing with her face painted on the side for all to see and probably fire spewing from somewhere.

You're right but just to point it out, Trixie was being very impractical by not including wheels on her chariot.

That was rather strange of her, but she had the entire town inside her barrier with no way to escape. She could sense the disturbance from the beavers repeatedly whacking their tails against it and since nothing could get out it's not like she has to be quick on arrival. Kind of like how you can take your time in dealing with the enemy if you have them cornered off or surrounded.
