I gotta hand it to Disney, some of their older films- heck, some of their newer films! They're just laughable, and completely cringe-worthy if people did this kind of stuff irl. Take Snow White, for example. How fast would you hit speedial for the cops if some strange guy walked up behind you, claiming he was in love with you, drove you into your house, and started singing and serenading to you from outside, under your window? Creep alert! XD How fast would he get restraining order'd? I love that Disney is still continuing to push the "let girls be princesses" agenda, when they, at the same time, push the very creepy "Prince pedo whackjob" agenda toward these girls.

Take Sleeping Beauty. If I woke up to some strange guy kissing me, I would grab in a certain place and SQUEEZE!

Any old fairy tale or movie based on one can be dissected to the point that it seems absurd or "offensive" to modern sensibilities.. but the point or "message" of most of those movies is fairly innocent and nothing to be overly concerned about. I mean, yes it's fun to make fun of some of the absurdity of it, but that doesn't make them bad, and disney's only real "agenda" is to make money, nothing else.

I think we need to keep in mind that at least one full season passed between SW's death and the Prince finding and kissing her, because the seasons trasitioned from winter to spring, so her body would've been rotting at that point (had she not been somehow preserved by the apple's magic)

.....and that the Prince kissed a would-be rotting body of a stranger...on the lips, as soon as he saw her.

Thats not how it happened though? Unless they rebooted the old hand drawn snow white. Also Disney's version with holds a lot of the other stuff, so yeah its gonna look a bit weird. In Disney's version had Snow White sing in a well where the Prince hears her. He checks it out and its love at first sight for him. Later when Snow White is poisoned, Prince believes her dead, so saddened by knowing he could never get to know and sweep a beautiful women off her feet he kisses a tortured women on her death bed.

Its not creepy because, Snow White is the right heir to the throne and she loves him in return. Its not like she spits out the kiss and cries wondering why a strange man employed by the queen to kill her just stole a kiss.

I still have my right to say this topic rubs me in the wrong way badly. And honestly Shrek made fun of Disney and Fairy Tales better than this topic does, in my opinion.

I get that you like Disney, but going "I'm gonna avoid you from now" because someone made a joke that's about as old as the movies themselves is still silly.
