Hmm... Honestly it kinda depends on the pie and cake. I'd say overall that I've ate more pies that I like than cake. And that pie is easier to get right than cake. But I've had some amazing cakes that blow the socks off of any pie I've had. I guess I'll take pie.

Where I'm from, pie is generally more of a savoury thing, so it's a bit hard to compare them. I guess cake wins by default?

Cake is the best for me, even though I do enjoy certain pies, just don’t give me hot pies, as they do nothing but burn my mouth to the point of spitting it out, hate it when they’re boiling hot inside, highly inedible.
