I'm exhausted, working, and hung over.

 

So, I get home around 4 in the afternoon Saturday, after going to pick up a an SUV. I still hadn't gone to bed yet from work the night before, and I feel miserable. My buddy shows up offering a drink, so we end up getting plastered through half the night. Finally around 5 in the morning I pass out on my couch, only to wake back up two hours later at 7. Hungover, and miserable I spend most of this day out taking care of business before I end up where I am now. At work.... Though it was certainly worth it. I did have a pretty good time drinking.

I am totally and utterly burnt out both physically, and especially mentally. At this time last week I was feeling great... the best I'd felt in a long time. If I knew what was coming in the week ahead of me there is a good chance I may not be here now. For a week to start on such a high point, and end on what has to be the worst thing that has ever happened in my life has had a major impact on me. There is no easy way of saying this but my son tried to commit suicide last week and very nearly succeeded..... now you may start to understand how I feel right now. Allot of other things happened to me last week as well, none of them good but things just kept getting worse each day.... from not getting payed, to having problems with my ex wife, then telling someone you have feelings for them only to find out that they have feelings for someone else, and then just when you think things can't get any worse you get the one phone call all parents dread the most. 'Your son is in hospital.... he tried to .........' If people knew what was going through my head most of the time now they would be surprised...... well I'll tell you....... absolutely nothing...... my mind is blank, my body has given up on me.... and well all I can say is that I am now just existing is this world and no more. I have never felt so empty and useless before at any point in this life. I can't even cry anymore, the tears have just dried up along with any sort of feelings or emotions,, I am just........

If the two friends I have here that know about what is going on with me read this.... I would like to thank you both..... you have been a great help to me and been there when I needed you most. Thank you..... I truly thank you both..... and I'm sorry for having put you through the worst days of my life...... I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me.
