I got to work 9 hours straight on my feet with no lunch break and my wonderful leader tried to sabotage me with something that would have gotten me in a lot of trouble had someone else not spoken up. This is going to go over really well on Monday when I confront him.

Terrible. I’m running a low grade fever and my sinuses hurt so badly it feels like I got smacked in the face with a mallet.  I can’t even wear my glasses right now because it hurts my face too much. I took some ibuprofen and that helped quite a bit but I still feel awful.

Confused: watching some Pokémon Showdown vids on YouTube where someone who apparently used to be a mod on the site completely wipes the floor with deceptively weak-looking Pokémon. Case in point: they actually destroyed someone’s Mega Rayquaza using a level 1 Magikarp. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes.

I understand that there’s some sort of chess-like strategy at play here, but I feel like a caveman trying to figure it out. Despite being a Pokémon fan ever since ye olden days of Red/Blue, competitive play has never made any sense to me.
