It's just work related. The basic version is I got a message from somebody that they urgently needed over 70 changes done now. I started working on it only to realized I might have removed some stuff I shouldn't on some of them due to the numbers being very similar. I don't remember which ones had what and there's no way for me check and see what they looked like beforehand.  I reached back out and its gonna be one of two things. Either I really messed up or they wanted those removed as well.

Kinda sounds like a flaw on their end to not have a back up copy or a file in which to check. But if boss is warned of the mistake right away, then perhaps there's time to fix it and things work out. However each bosses temperament is different and I honestly am not there to know what your boss is like. I really do hope for the best in your case.

So It's very....confusing to explain however I am in a role of where I don't really have a boss. I am my boss. My role is technically above the people sending me these requests as I am the only person in the entire building capable of making these high level changes. That being said I am sure there is somebody above me who would pull me aside and have a talking to with me if I was screwing up a lot.

It's  not a fix for the current situation but I would recommend keeping back up copies lol. Call it experience from my personal situations. Just my advice and only me trying to help. Though I'm not in your shoes, so I don't know if that's an option or not.

For security reasons its not. Really it's on me for getting anxious of the urgency and not paying attention. I appreciate your advice though

Like I'm going through the motions. I got several things today and my back is doing better thanks to the K-tape. I still have some more things to do in general this month, but I have to start making some more time to study as we are already halfway through September.
