AJ's countryism isn't linked to her cutie mark, its the new cutie mark that is keeping her from using them. Sense the other 5 and the other ponies in the town don't/cant use countryisms, AJ shouldn't be able to use them ether sense there all suppose to be equal.

Pretty much. The spell doesn't just strip special talents, it strips ANYTHING that makes a pony unique.

The episode was written so everypony would become equal (hence the equality sign as their cutie mark). I think M.A. Larson (the writer) wanted to do an Applejack related joke, and sure it was funny, and the voice actor did a good job delivering the joke. But I think your question is valid.

I wasn't asking, I know there are a lot of reactors and reviews that always ask why in their videos and this was answering the question.

Yea, the reactors... They are good at asking questions and praise the voice actors for having a good time (when they are in fact just doing their jobs for money)

Too be fair, those are kind of part of their physiologies, just like super strength is a trait of Earth Ponies.

The spell strips the racial traits down to their very base minimum. Pegasi can fly, but at a slow trot pace. Unicorns can use magic, but only to levitate, and likely not anything really heavy. And Earth ponies are still on the ground, but can't break anything with a swift kick.

Technically, the average Pegasus and the Average Unicorn can still fly and use magic because it's the most basic thing that those kinds of ponies can do or makes them special. So there's no inconsistency.

Yeah, the reason she can't use countryisms(which isn't really linked to her cutie mark) is because of the equal cutie mark, which makes her be the basic earth pony and most can't, so here you go, also not every earth pony is strong, so here why she is not strong as well. The same goes for others.

Oh, I see. I was just thinking along the lines of being super technical with equality and having no one being able to do magic or fly so ponies who can’t don’t feel bad.
