I'm quite surprised that Rarity and Pinkie came out as a same type, at lease based on how I see them. I wanted to redo it for Rarity, but if I did it all over again until the result was how I thought it was supposed to be, that would be ingenuine. I'm also quite surprised that some parts are uncannily spot on. If you want to see the full article, see this https://www.16personalities.com/personality-types  and read the ones that I mentioned. Test the Mane Six yourselves (or some other characters) and tell me what happened. What's different and what's the same from my results?

And most importantly, what do you think of this?

You mean an MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) test? INTP is a type of personality, not the name of the test.

Otherwise, I suppose it makes sense.

Interesting. I also think that Rarity and Pinkie should not be the same type as they seem quite different from each other.

Though I agree they are very different people I think they occupy different areas within 'campaigner' type, though of course it's a loose label not exact. In my opinion, I can't think of a different category for either of them.

The types seem fairly accurate to me. I do really love the 16 personalities website, the art is very nice and it's a nice quick time killer.

I think Twilight's an ISTJ. She's very concerned with following rules and doing everything by-the-book. I think her enneagram type would be 5w6, which would explain her love of learning. I wish I could consider her an INTJ, since that's my type and she's the character I find most relatable, but ISTJ seems more likely to me.

I agree about Pinkie being an ENFP. Not sure about Rarity though (I don't really have a specific type for her in mind).

I'd type Applejack as ESTJ, but ESFJ works too.

I'd say Rainbow Dash is ESTP, not ENTP. Her dominant cognitive function is definitely extroverted sensing.

ISFJ works for Fluttershy, though I could also see her as being an INFP.

So much Pony, so little time.

Twilight Sparkle

INTJ-T

Nah I don't see Twilight as an INTJ. I feel like she would be more of an INFJ. It's possible that she used to be an INTJ but she grew out of that, now Feeling more than Thinking.

If anyone would be an INTJ, it would be Starlight. She would bottle up emotions, she's pretty stubborn, she would isolate herself, and let's not forget that INTJs are also nicknamed "masterminds."

I wouldn’t say AppleJack is needy (well unless she wants to plan a family reunion)

Yeah. I think trying to live without her parents played a major role in forming her personality and trying to be independent and the opposite of being needy. (but that's just my interpretation afterwards the conclusion of the survey.)
