The Riddle Game...

Count Paradox

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I got it in my head after reading The Hobbit to start a riddle game just like in the book with anyone on here who wants to play. The rules are simlpe: you put in a riddle, any riddle you can think of, and have someone guess it. Then, that person gets to put in a new riddle. Seems simple? Well, wait until you get started. I'll go ahead and start us off with one:

To cross the water I'm the way,

For water I'm above;

I touch it not, and truth to say,

I neither swim nor move. What am I?

Edit: There^

I didn't know, but I guess theres a new one in town...

oh, and the answer to your riddle is...

MIST!!!

Two bodies have I;

Tho' both join'd in one,

The stiller I stand,

The faster I run.

An Hourglass? it makes sense...

Forgive me for this one, it is quite dumb. I sure you've seen it before

As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives. Every wife had seven sacks. Every sack had seven cats. Every cat had seven kits. Kits, cats, sacks and wives. How many were going to St. Ives?
