Have you ever left something in the fridge that wasn't food?

I guess it's a sign that you eat too much. 

I just left my book in there.

A hard drive. It was broken and I tried to make it work one more time (to get the data from it) by freezing it - this sometimes helps. It did not help in that case.

What for? I never heard putting hard drives in the fridge or something.

It rarely helps, but sometimes does help to get the drive to work one last time to recover the data from it.

And since nobody was willing to pay for real data recovery, this was a cheap option to try.

Yeah.  Was at work once.  Couldn't find my phone, and gave up looking after awhile thinking I left it at home.  A few hours later I opened the fridge, got my dinner, and saw my phone in the bag.  

Still dunno why I put my phone in my lunch bag lol.

I mean I set my book down in there and forgot about it. Then I was looking around for the book. That's more what I meant.

Anyway I know some people keep batteries in there.

I’ve left keys, a can of Lysol and mittens in there. A tad absent-minded I guess.

I did freeze a Han Solo action figure into a little block of ice in the freezer once (you know, like a carbon freeze kind of thing), but that was deliberate.
