I know this thread probably exists, but I wished to start my own one. What is the descision you made which was right, but at the same time you regret it?

Mine was being myself. As a child it was fine, but growing up, I realised how hurtful and hard it is having a different POV and thought process than your parents.

This is so relatable. Gacha games get me every time.

Even when I say I'm not gonna spend money on this game I do lol

Going to college. It’s something I want to do and I’m willing to go through the struggle even if it feels pointless, so that’s not what I regret. What’s regretful is that it takes up so much of my time that people want spent on them, even though I can’t possibility give them that time without failing my classes.

Leaving the last community I was a part of for 2+ years was 100% the right decision for multiple reasons, but... I still regret leaving behind some nice people I would have really liked to be friends with. Maybe it's for the best though.

I made the decision when I was younger to live for others who needed me. It meant giving up a lot of my dreams and that caused me more misery than I can tell you. It took years to see past myself and realize it was the right decision and to make those sacrifices. It still hurts sometimes when I’m not seeing things clearly, but then perspective sets in again so I can’t really regret the path I chose.
