movies/tv When did you first get a TV in your bedroom?

I've never had one in my room! I didn't know that was apparently "weird" until someone mentioned it the other day

Fun fact, my original TV would last a month or 2 in my current residence before trashing it for a combined TV/VCR unit

When I was younger, my siblings and I used to share a tv in our room together. However, now that I'm older, I do not have a tv in my room. I do have my computer monitor if that counts?

I never did, lol I always just had a laptop to watch things in

I had a TV in my room pretty early. Sometime when my age was in the single digits. I don't remember exactly when, though.

I got my first bedroom TV when I was 5 years old, it was a Mickey Mouse TV, I used it to watch cable TV and play video games. I had the matching DVD player for it, but that broke several years later.

I actually remember in 8th grade French, our teacher was talking about how "TV rots your brains. Worse if you have one in the bedroom". She knew I was one of her better students. She asked for a show of hands who had a TV in their room.

Me not raising my hand, I thought, "yes, you are probably feeling very validated right now" .
