gaming What was the creepiest experience in a non-scary game?

All of Majora's Mask, bits and pieces of the 2004 Transformers game, some of Super Paper Mario and the Jack-in-the-box boss of Donkey Kong 64.

It's ironic how I fall just to get back up again...

Bioshock: Some people say it's a scary game but I don't think it is... except for this one room in the medical pavilion... a dentist's room... the first time I actually jumped whilst playing a video game... the mists still creep me out, and I know he's watching... and waiting.. for someone who doesn't know what I'm talking about this would sound even weirder.

Also Metro 2033 had an amazingly creepy atmosphere the whole way through without it being scary... the library man... the freaking library... if anyone has played this... the library...

Brushing your hair is for people who care and someone who cares is not I, I'll jump off a bridge and then fill up your fridge,
and best pony is Fluttershy.

Her face is still blushing and she is still eating the pasta.

Far cry 2, when you are wandering through a jungle and someone tries to drive over you from behind, well for me it is simply the noise it makes.

Minecraft mobs can sometimes scare me as well - not creepers as much as endermen and daytime spiders.

I think a few moments from league of legends when i just try to 'drift' through the jungle.

A little from dragon age origins, some enemies are just strong.

Id say some of the music in Paper mario TTYD, its just me, but it dont have to be about the music, share some weird/creepy stories

Holy crap I was just about to say some of the music in that game!

If I can remember correctly, then the music when standing in front of The Door used to scare the mess out of me. It would give me the feeling that some horrible presense was just lurking behind waiting to crush all.

The Final Day song in Majora's Mask creeped me and my friend out.

The zombies by the castle at the beginning of LoZ: Ocarina of Time scared the crap out of me. I never picked the game up again until I was like, 18.

And some of those Draugr in Skyrim scared me when I didn't expect them to pop out at me.

Lavender Town and Majora's Mask, definitely. Mostly the creepypasta stuff my friend linked me to. That statue in Majora's Mask is positively frightening.

I was playing Kirby 64 a while ago and I never noticed how creepy the factory level is. The music is part of it, but mostly going through the level and seeing all the creatures and machines just freaks me out.

The ReDeads from Ocarina of Time and those dancing ones in Ikana Castle in Majora's Mask were creepy.

Other than that, Lavender Town and Ravenholm from Half-Life 2.

^Speaking of Kirby, the final boss and true final boss, Zero and Zero2, are pretty creepy for a kids game.

Oh yeah, the Dark Matter Trilogy in Kirby was quite dark and eerie. I mean, the Alien Pyramids were odd, and Shiver Star, the ice world with the factories, is a lot more creepy when you realize that Shiver Star is Earth during a Nuclear Ice Age. Also, Zero/02 was an epic final boss. Anything that fires blood at you and rips it eye out in a gruesome fashion is Grade A 100% Prime Cut Final Boss Material. Edited by Tom The Diamond
