I was thinking for a bit when listening to laughter by MandoPony and i got to thinking, pinkie pie is really depressed, isnt she? every time we see her in any *normal* state, she is either extremely joyful or is sad, and if you take it a step further, she might just be on the edge of a psychotic break in every episode. her friends stop paying attention, and try doing  something without her knowing, and thats exactly what happens to her: a psychotic break.

She can definitely get in a depressed mood, but I (personally) don't think she has depression; she just gets more of how extroverts feel when they're deprived of communication for a while.
