As @Dynamo Pad @Pinkie Pie and others that were affected by the poison joke were recovering, Discord had looked around marveling at his work. "Oh, I do love it when a plan comes together. I ran the scenario over and over in my mind, but this turned out even better than I had hoped. I admit that Shiny's sudden transformation was something I didn't quite expect, but better to expect the unexpected, riiiiiiight~?" He chuckled, before raising an eyebrow very high to @Samurai Equine Trilby. All the while, the eyebrow lifting itself so high, that it leaped off of the draconequus' face. "All thanks are always appreciated. Especially when knowing that you, yourself made what I consider to be the best Goof Off performance in all of Equestria!" He cheered, fireworks getting sent flying high into the sky and exploding. "Although..." He started as he patted the hair on his chin. "Who said I was a friendly draconequus. I'm your friendly neighborhood draconequus. Can't forget that now, after all." His eyebrow returned back in place as he gave a smirk to Trilby, while he thought he felt a sudden chill in the air. Almost as if there was a disturbance in the magical forces. "Wait a moment. Something doesn't feel quite right." He softly muttered to himself, eyes shrinking slightly at the sound of someone applauding. The source of the applause was from @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny, who was still immobilized from the steel covering.

"I thought for sure I turned everypony back to normal with a snap of my finger. Hmmm...perhaps I should try this again." He attempted once more, but stopped as the mention of magic had no effect had caught his ears. Discord thought he felt a shift in the air, but it only caused him to float a little higher than usual. "It looks like we might need to try other ways to change this form of Shiny's. Anypony got any good suggestions?" He wondered, flipping through a checklist of potential ideas, but nothing seemed to have come to mind. "Oh? Have you seen this before, little croissant? Perhaps you'd like to shed some light on this predicament of our friends." With a beam of magic being launched by Shiny, Discord would have tried to teleport the attack away with another snap of his fingers. What he didn't expect was for CatNap, who had jumped in to absorb the attack, before getting sent flying. The attack was still far too strong to be stopped completely, but it did give Discord enough time to dodge out of the way. "CatNap was a true hero jumping in light that. Of course, I could have dodged, but that was still very brave and courageous of somepony to do such a feat." He closed his eyes briefly, before opening them as if pulling the curtains on a window. 

"Is that singing I hear? Oh, I just love getting into a good musical. This calls for a song with multiple ponies! I wonder if we can do an acapella. Oh, I'd need to get the old group back together as it's definitely indeed been a while."

With more magic that was being used by Saturn, Zecora watched as two dinosaurs, a triceratops and a brachiosaurus were brought alongside a hoof height cat and bumblebee. "It's looks like more and more help is here. Now we need to make sure that the plan is crystal clear." Taking a look at all of the friends Saturn had brought, a plan was being formulated in the zebra's mind. "Have some of your friends reach the others friends. They'll surely bring the support with all the help they will lend." She explained, handing @Dah Onion Eater  Saturn multiple vials of the cure inside. "Take these and make sure your friends and the others acquire these vials. For these will be the key towards our grand trial." She explained, handing a vial to both @Dah Onion Eater  Ghostie and @Emerald Heart Emerald to take, as well. 

Trilby was a little concerned as everything began to unfold before him and @Discord. "W-wait, what's going on? Did we not fix everything?!" Trilby begins to panic when he realizes Shiny was not turning back to normal, and that the danger was not year over after all. He was beginning to feel like an idiot for giving the all clear too soon. He even puts a hoof on Discord and looks up at him when Discord's magic isn't enough, but he doesn't quite know what to do to help. "For Celestia's sake, what was I thinking? I never should have even--" However, before Trilby can say much more, Zecora is guided into the Goof Off as well. With help from the other contestants, Trilby watches as Zecora and the rest make quick work to cure Shiny.

*When the light dissipated itself, a more friendly figure was underneath the body of Bearpolar.*

*The real Shiny Silvermoon was back and ready to spread happiness all around herself.*

Shiny : "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!" *The unicorn yelled with open hooves.*

Shiny : "Huh? I must have fell asleep! I had some crazy dream! In my dream, I was some sort of huuuuuge spider with tentacles and bat wings trying to eat my friends!" *She said, oblivious of what had just happened.*

*Shiny then shifted her attention to some remains of the blue cake batter containing poison jokes.*

Shiny : "I should eat that, before it goes bad!"

Trilby smiles. "Excuse me, Discord. I'll be right back." Trilby says to his newest friend. He is about to run out to check on the other contestants, but first he gets a hug. He is surprised, but he gladly hugs @Emerald Heart Emerald back. "Hey, there there, starchild. It'll be okay. Take a break and leave those tears behind." He does his best to give her words of encouragement.

When the hug breaks, he goes over to @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny. "Hey, Shiny! Are you okay? Croissanto was so worried, and... Is that a polar bear?" Trilby asks, wanting to make sure, a little afraid to get too close.

Trilby also remembers @Dynamo Pad Dynamo and @Wizard Titanium. "Oh! Dynamo is probably back to normal too by now. And he might be confused why he's wearing my hat. And hopefully Titanium should be back to normal as well; here's hoping she doesn't hate me for getting her hopes up." Trilby looks around the both of them as well.

Shiny : "Woah! You guys have less chill than @Wizard Titanium, when I froze her hooves at the Running of the Leaves!" *A cheeky grin appeared on her lips, after saying her pun.*

*Then, the mare slipped free from underneath Bearpolar with a loud "Pop!". She made her way to the stage to pick Croissanto up with her magic.*

Croissanto : "I think the futur editions of the Big Goof Off will never be as... entertaining... as this one."

[Dynamo Pad 11,640]

As the effects of the poison joke dissipated, Dynamo had noticed that something had changed about him. Lifting up one of hai forelegs, the unicorn noticed that his hooves weren’t tripping over themselves. Slowly getting up to stand on his hooves, Dynamo tentatively took a step forward. He was still nervous, but after a moment, he soon realized that everything was okay. “The effects are gone? H-How and why?” He spoke softly to himself in both confusion and wonder. Looking around, he had noticed that Discord was with Trilby and Saturn. The latter of the two working together and the former laughing in pure delight. Tilting his head slightly in confusion, Dynamo was slowly put two and two together. ‘Oh, I see now. Tribly and Saturn were probably the reason that things are normal again.’ He thought, taking notice of something that was placed upon his head. His eyes trailing upward, he noticed that it was the same hat that Trilby had been wearing the entire time.

Smiling softly as he wiped his tears away, the gaming unicorn knew what he should do. He started making his way over towards Trilby and Saturn. Intending to thank them for their help and to apologize for acting the way he did previously when he was unable to move. He didn’t get a chance to, however, as Shiny had appeared in a different form of sorts. The unicorn’s could only drop in disbelief as that wasn’t the Shiny he knew. “Oh, dear sweet Celestia!” He exclaimed, making his way away from the stage and hising behind the corner of a building. As he tried to catch his breath, he wondered if there was anything he or anyone could do to fix this situation. It wasn’t until his eyes darted around to find a solution that he noticed Zecora, as well as Emerald and Ghostie. The trio, along with numerous giant stuffed animals, were creating vials of what looked to be a sort of potion. Receiving one of the vials from said stuffed animals, Dynamo began to understand what needed to be done.

”I don’t know if there’s anything I can do, but I’m still going to try.” With a nod, Dynamo rushed out alongside the stuffed animals. Using his magic to create fire to launch at the transformed Shiny. He had heard that Fire and Water were two things that kept Shiny at bay and he intended to capitalize on that. Any time he had missed, the gaming unicorn made sure to use some of the available water from the bucket to douse the flames on the spot. As things started to look dire, help had arrived in the same polar bear from Shiny’s and Croissanto’s act. Only this time, he was real. “Wait, so the polar bear was real all along?” Dynamo says, his eyes widening in disbelief. However, he wouldn’t complain as the bear managed to land on top of Shiny. With everyone’s help, Shiny was given the cure as a transformation of light took place. Dynamo had to shield his eyes as the light was too intense to see. It took only a moment as the light faded. Allowing Dynamo to slowly open his eyes to find that Shiny was back. “Shiny! You’re okay!” He smiled as he ran up to give his friend a hug. Until he noticed that Shiny was about to have another piece of the cake that affected everyone. “No, wait! shiny! It’s a trap!” He says, thankful that Emrald and the others had gotten the cake away from Shiny. “That was a close call. Also, I might need to take a break from cake for a while. I can never say no to cake, but this is one cake that, while it was delicious, it’s definitely a pass from me.” He chuckled sheepishly as he started making his way back towards the stage.

[Zecora 58]

With a sudden shadow enveloping Zecora and the others, the zebra slowly looked up to see Shiny, who was perched on top of a wall. Looking down at the group as said group was moving away from the transformed pony. "Run and keep your distance as Shiny is around the town! Make sure to have fire and water with you and it shall slow her down!" Zecora exclaimed, dodging and weaving around Shiny, who was attacking the group. As each other stuffed animal plush made their attacks on the transformed mare, it looked as if the attacks were working, but still not phasing Shiny. With hope looking to be lost, Zecora heard what sounded like a roar. Craning her neck towards the source, she saw that it was the sound of a polar bear. "Oh, my. Is that a polar bear? Now that's something I didn't expect to appear out of nowhere." Zecora wondered how and where this polar bear had appeared, but the bear looked to be on their side. With the polar bear landing atop of Shiny, CatNap had managed to pour the cure into Shiny's mouth. Shielding her eyes from the blinding light, it looked as if Shiny had slowly began to transform back to her original self. With the light dissipating, Zecora slowly opened her eyes to see that Shiny had returned. Sighing in relief, the zebra smiled as it looked like her work here was done. "With all of us working together, all has turned out well. Shiny is back to normal, that I can truly tell." Zecora says, grabbing her vials, potion brewing materials and saddlebag. "With everything now back to normal, my work here is done. Despite everything that's happened, I must say it was a lot of fun." Waving at the group, Zecora took her leave as she started to head back to her hut in the Everfree Forest.

Trilby looks around and finds Dynamo. With a smile, he goes over and offers Dynamo a hug. "Welcome back, boss. This show couldn't go on without you, the real master of ceremonies. It definitely doesn't need me anymore." Trilby waits a second. ... "Can I have my hat back, please? It's not a straw hat, but it is my treasure." Trilby says with a slightly embarrassed smile, making a One Piece reference.

Even though everything had been mostly turned back to normal, the draconequus had noticed that there were still a few loose ends to tie up. "While it's good I got a good laugh out of that performance, I think there's still one friend that needs some assistance." He says, splitting himself into two, while each clone decided to split once more. Allowing several Discord's to take the stage for everyone to see. "I think it's better to even the odds, or to add more chaos to the show. Wouldn't you agree?" He smirked, each draconequus sharing the same smirk. All the while, each snapping their fingers to each of them wearing CWU-27p flight suits. Along with wearing a ghost with a crossed circle insignia and his name on the front as a badge. With a giant vacuum sitting upon his back, Discord knew it was time to party. "Alright! Time for us to go on a spirit hunt!" Each one started up their vacuums, but stopped as a plan was already set into motion. "Aww, phooey! And here I was hoping we could go about it in a more fun way. I even got the suits and everything!" Discord pouted with a dejected expression upon his face. Seeing the animated plushies moving as if brought to life, however, started to change his tune. "You know what? On second thought, this is just as good if not possibly better than my plan! Of course, I'm all for this kind of fun plan!" Rubbing his hands together, the draconequus and his other doppelgängers each acted as a distraction. All the while, keeping Shiny at bay, while the rest of the team made sure to give the transformed unicorn the cure.

When all hope seemed to have been lost, Discord placed a paw to his ear as he thought he had heard something. It wasn't until he saw what landed upon Shiny, that his questions were answered. "The polar bear? From her routine in the competition? Here I was actually planning on summoning him, but it looks like he's as real as one can get. Not what I'd expect with Polar Bear Deus-ex machina, but still two thumbs way, way up!" Discord cheered, his doppelgängers joining together to create one true Discord. His thumbs, meanwhile, blasted off like rockets into the air, before exploding into beautiful fireworks. With his thumbs teleporting back in place, the master of chaos watched as the others stopped Shiny from eating more cake. "Ah, oh well. More cake for me!" Wearing a napkin around his neck, as well as pulling two forks from out of nowhere. Discord dove into pile after pile of cake. "Well as the old saying goes! When in Rome, let them eat cake!"

[Pinkie Pie 622]

Once the effects of the poison joke had been lifted, Pinkie blinked as she felt that something had changed about her. Opening up her mouth, she made noises that ranged from singing to making silly sounds. All in the hopes that her voice was back and no emoji's had emerged. "Yay~! I'm finally able to speak again! I remember when my tongue was not normal the first time I had been affected by poison joke, or even the time when Trixie erased my mouth away. Even if I've gone through this a third time, I've realized how horrible it is not being able to talk! I mean, I love talking so much, but when I could only speak emoji's, I was all emoji this and emoji that. It was super cool at first, but it felt like the worst, but thankfully it's all over now! Everything is all back to normal!" Pinkie says, closing her eyes with a giant grin. However, she was forced to eat her words like chocolate slices of cake as she had soon noticed Shiny, who was not fully back to normal. "Okay, everypony! Remember to follow my lead!" The party mare announced, before screaming in a panic and started heading for the hills. She had taken cover, while trying to take into account on who was still in the crowd. Hoping to make sure that everyone was safe and sound, before noticing other giant stuffed animals were helping keeping everyone safe. At the same time, they were trying to stand against the transformed Shiny. "Oooooh~! Would this mean that we're going to have a slumber party later? Looks like there's enough plush-like friends for a plush pillow fight!" She clapped her front hooves together in glee as she was hoping to prepare a slumber party.

Taking notice of the buckets of water and the vials that were in the stuffed animals paws, Pinkie had also seen Discord and Dynamo. The both of whom were trying to stand against Shiny as everyone tried to give what looked like a cure for the transformed unicorn. "It looks like desperate times call for desperate measures. Time for a surprise attack!" With a battle cry, Pinkie rushed out of hiding as she launched cupcake after cupcake upon the transformed unicorn. When things were not going in the group's favor, Pinkie felt her tail beginning to twitch. "There's only one answer as to why my tail is a twitch a twitching. Something's going to fall from the sky!" She says, her answer soon appearing in the form of a polar bear. The very same polar bear that Shiny and Croissanto had mentioned in their performance of the Goof Off. "It's the bear! Oh, I never thought I'd see him again. I think there was a bear on my trip to YakYakistan. Unless it was a different creature that I had seen. At any rate, it's so great to finally see the Polar Bear!" She smiled, as the cure was administered and Shiny was soon transformed back to normal. As the bright light shined and soon dimmed, Pinkie had taken everything in to see that all was right again. Everything felt silent, at first, before the pink party mare suddenly cheered. "WOOHOO!!!! That was one of the best performances I have ever seen! I mean, everypony did an amazing, spectacular, over the top, stupendous job! If this was one way to close this Goof Off as a grand finale, then that was an amazing job! I think we might need an encore!"

I don't know what had happened when I ate that cake, but I guess the poison joke affected my coordination, or lack there of at the time. Seeing everyone not doing well or were getting affected, I let it all get to me. I wish I could have done more, but I felt useless. For that, I really am sorry for how I was acting before." He says, looking over to @Dah Onion Eater  Saturn, before smiling. "I have to thank both you and Saturn. If it wasn't for you both getting Discord to laugh, then I don't know how we'd become back to normal. Same with Discord, Pinkie, Zecora, Emerald and everyone working together. It was a team effort that everything is back to normal." He says, turning back towards Trilby. Realization hitting him as he levitated the hat off of his head, before levitating the hat back to Trilby. "Oh! I'm really sorry about that and thank you so much for letting me have the hat momentarily. I know that I have my own hat I got from a friend, but I really appreciated your kind gesture." He says, blinking as he suddenly noticed something that Trilby had said. "Wait a second. Did you make a reference to what I think you referenced?" He asks, a smile slowly growing on his face as he put two and two together.

If it wasn't for you both getting Discord to laugh, then I don't know how we'd become back to normal. Same with Discord, Pinkie, Zecora, Emerald and everyone working together. It was a team effort that everything is back to normal." He says, turning back towards Trilby. Realization hitting him as he levitated the hat off of his head, before levitating the hat back to Trilby. "Oh! I'm really sorry about that and thank you so much for letting me have the hat momentarily. I know that I have my own hat I got from a friend, but I really appreciated your kind gesture." He says, blinking as he suddenly noticed something that Trilby had said. "Wait a second. Did you make a reference to what I think you referenced?" He asks, a smile slowly growing on his face as he put two and two together.

Trilby happily takes his hat back and adjusts it on his head with one hoof. Then he hears Dynamo ask him something. "Hmm? Reference? ...Oh! You mean, that. Well, I don't own a ship, I don't know any reindeer doctors, and I only met a samurai pony one time. But I guess you could say... I'm gonna be King of the Haberdashers!" Trilby says, punching his hoof into his other hoof before striking a familiar fighting pose. He then relaxes and shares a laugh with Dynamo.

As he listened to Trilby's statement in regards to the discussion of the reference, Dynamo gasped with a grin as he understood what the haberdasher had meant. "Do you mean One Piece!? I try to keep up with it here and there. Both with the books and anime, but I mostly watch the anime. Although, I do enjoy my fair share of reading other manga and watching other anime from time to time. Mostly if I'm not gaming at the time." He chuckles, before making his way back up onto the stage. Seeing that both the contestants and crowd were making their way back, he smiled in relief to see that everypony was okay. Along with being back to normal after Discord's poison joke addition to the Goof Off. "Attention, everypony! May I have your attention, please! I'd like to apologize for what had happened as I feel that I should have been able to help. Given that my legs were tripping over themselves, I feel as though I wasn't able to do much. I really want to thank everyone's help and support in working together, as well as I want to apologize for what had happened once more." He gave a bow as he felt truly sorry and hoped that he could do his best to regain everyone's trust. Standing up from his bow, he knew that the show must go on!

"As for how we'll decide the winners, I think I might have an idea on how to go about this. Pinkie? If you can join me up on stage so I can discuss with you on what I have in mind!" He smiled as he extended his hoof towards the pink party mare.

Perking her ears at the mention of her name, the super duper party planning pony had looked over towards @Dynamo Pad. The one who had extended his hoof towards her to join him up on stage. "It's just like planning for a party! Got to discuss all of the details and then we can truly begin to party! Plus, he makes a valid point that in any and all competitions, performances or parties. The show must go on!" She exclaimed, bouncing with each step she took as she made her way back onto the stage. "What do you have in mine, my dear cohost?" Leaning over to lend him an ear, she hummed in thought to the plan. Widening her eyes slightly, before narrowing her eyebrows, before humming once more with a nod. The pink party mare smirked playfully as she listened more and more with Dynamo's idea. "Hmmm...oooooh~! Oh, I like that idea. That sounds perfect." Some of the audience members began to notice that every word she spoke could be picked up by the stray microphone that was near her hooves. Leaving everyone to ponder and question what the duo had in mind. 

Once the discussion was complete, Pinkie picked up the microphone with her tail as she mad her way towards center stage. Tossing the microphone with a flick of her tail, she managed to catch it in her mane, before tossing said microphone into her hoof. "Alright, fillies and gentlecolts! The moment that you've all been waiting for! I think it's time that we announce the winners of this year's Big Goof Off!" She announced, pausing for a bit of dramatic effect, while smiling proudly with her choice of wording. "That's right! I said winners, but for why I said that, then all shall be revealed! I think that since everyone did an amazing job in this year's Goof Off. I think that it's only fair that it's not only difficult to judge, but Dynamo, myself and I can tell that everyone in the crowd had gotten a real kick out of each performance. With that, I think it's only fitting that everyone should share in the victory! Also, not to worry on the trophies as I had multiple trophies stashed away! In case of trophy emergencies!" She winked, extending her hoof to show that there were indeed multiple trophies for everyone that participated could take.

With the announcements of the awards being discussed, Discord thought it would be fun to watch, wait and see on who would claim victory in this year's competition. The draconequus had been sitting in his red, comfy, reclining chair with a bag of popcorn in one paw and a glass of chocolate milk in the other. He thought that since he was at the end of the performance stage, he thought he could sit back, relax and enjoy the award ceremony. What he didn't expect was to hear that he, as well as those that had taken part in the Goof Off had all been declared the winners. "I WON!?" He exclaimed, tossing his popcorn and chocolate milk aside, before teleporting out of his reclining chair. The chair of which had disappeared in a poof. He had appeared the next moment on stage, dressed up in his orange zoot suit and orange hat. "I'd like to thank the adoring audience for their love and support! I'd also love to thank all of my adoring fans for their support over the many moons of this event! I'd also love to give a big shout out to both Fluttershy and the Smooze! The both of who would not have made my appearance even possible!" Discord says, many other Discords in the audience standing up and giving the Discord on stage a standing ovation. As the applause for him had slowly faded, the master of chaos had taken a bow, before standing and adjusting his had. "Well, it has been fun and it was great to let everypony try out my delicious cake. However, I must go as must show Fluttershy of my lovely trophy over some delectable tea. I must bid you all an adieu." With a wave, he was about to teleport with a snap of his claw. However, he stopped as he turned towards @Samurai Equine Trilby Hatter. Floating over towards the hat salespony, before wrapping an arm around him like an old friend. 

"Speaking of which. You and Saturn had made an interesting duo for trying to get me to laugh. Perhaps if you are not busy later, maybe the two of us can hang out or have a guy's night out on the town. Dress up fancy, wear our stylish hats, hang out. Sort of like that time I tried to hang out with Spike and Big Mac. Oh! I hope that you like Ogres and Oubliettes! Now that's a great way to pass the time! Especially if we get to play the video game the way I am able to. However, we can discuss this more later in due time. Ta-ta~!" With a snap, Discord had vanished in a poof.

If you wish to give a speech just like Discord, then please make your way afterwards over towards Pinkie Pie!" He explained, seeing everyone beginning to take the stage for their trophies and acceptance speeches. Dynamo smiled as it looked as if everyone had a lot of fun. As Trilby over hears a comment Pinkie made, he quietly leaves her the rainbow wig he wore earlier. "You probably have a million of these, but you should get a trophy too." He thinks to himself while staying away from the spotlight.

As Dynamo begins to announce how everypony won, Trilby just silently nods in approval, turns around, and heads for the EXIT with all his supplies in tow. The once loud and boisterous pony no longer has anything left to say nor advertise. A pony that once wanted to insert his name into the show, now wants to give it back to its rightful contestants.
Should his name be mentioned, he won't be there to collect any trophy. He doesn't need to win. He didn't even compete. This moment belongs to everypony else, not him.
Trilby has a slightly more mundane and slightly more empty life to go back to. And so off he goes, out of the theater, back to his shop, quietly drifting away.

*Shiny (and Croissanto) trotted away from Trilby and made their way to the stage. After accepting the trophy offered by @Dynamo Pad, they approached @Pinkie Pie.*

Croissanto : "Thank you, everypony, for this reward. I might just be a magical puppet sold by a mysterious Kirin merchand that we will never see again but I still had a lot of fun. As I was laying on the stage, while a nightmarefuel Shiny was causing a mayhem, I realized that life was too short. And so Bearpolar and I are going to travel all around the globe to live incredible adventures, fight fearsome monsters, learn about other cultures, seek fortune and fame as well as seek the true meaning of friendship. We might come back occasionally. Good bye." *The croissant-shaped puppet then jumped off Shiny's hoof to land on Bearpolar's back.*

Croissanto : "Hyyyyyya! Trilby! For my cowboy hat, I'll be at your shop tomorrow, at eleven of the morning! For now, we have a train to catch!" *He yelled, while riding the polar bear to the setting sun. A western music was playing in the background, as they were distancing the Goof Off.*

Shiny : "My turn to say something deep! Okay... Ummm... I once ate a salad without vinaigrette and it wasn't bad but it was obviously missing something to be fun. This is how I discovered how vinaigrettes and sauces are the most important things in a meal. It can change the experience entierely! That's it! Thank you for listening!" *The mare then hopped off the stage and began leaping toward the setting sun as well with the same music in the back ground.*
