If you were in charge of theming a water park, what would you theme it to?

I’d theme a water park to SpongeBob, because the show already takes place under water so it makes so much sense. I could imagine the wave pool being themed to Goo Lagoon, the lazy river probably being themed to Jellyfish Fields, and the water slide tower with a bucket on top being themed to the Chum Bucket with the actual Chum Bucket being the bucket that dumps water.

I would request a board of officials at the company to discuss what would be the best way to do it, because there are no know it alls in the world. The success of the water park is determined by things like how safe the rides are, security and what attracts customers the most. Of course you could probably request the use of copyrighted characters from IP owners to increase the attractiveness of the water park but minimizing risk to people there is the priority in my opinion. Poorly maintained water slides or people who disrespect the rules of the theme park can have lethal results.

I'm going to say the Goonies. We get to piggy back off of pirates, and half the park could be dedicated to working your way through challenges, while the other half can be a free for all. It will bring back nostalgia, while also bringing something fresh.

Honestly it probably doesn’t need a theme, but a Genshin Impact Fontaine-inspired water park would be my personal dream .

Easily horror themed. The water would be red like blood and each attraction would be based off a monster or killer from a movie. Not because I enjoy horror, because I don’t, but because I know lots of people who do. Therefore I think I’d make a lot of money.

There is a wonderful New Age album by Diane and David Arkenstone called Aquaria, A Liquid Blue Trancescape.

If Dion Fortune's Book The Sea Priestess needed an OST, you could use this album as a drop in solution.

Together, the essence of a theme and maybe even a plot for the entire overarching experience of a trip to the park could be extracted from these two works.
