If you haven't noticed a lot of words are used over and over again in the brony community. I'm talking about things like "brohoof" "anypony" and replacing "God" with "Celestia" (oh, thank Celestia!). Do you think it is a good thing? On the positive, it creates a sense of continuity throughout the community, which is something that it really benefits from. If you can go anywhere and have immediate connection to the bronies, you can more comfortably talk to anyone. However, one the more negative side, people tend to look at us and think "Why the heck are they doing that? It's just stupid!", which is negative PR, and could limit other people gaining an interest in the show.

In general, I'm in favor, just as long as it's not overdone. Your thoughts?

Well saying "Celestia" instead of "God" is basically avoiding using God's name in vain, which is a good thing for Christians like me (though I prefer to just say "Gosh"). So I'd say yes. It's awesome. Not just because of that but also because saying that stuff is sorta roleplaying which lots of people love. Personally I never use any of the phrases, but I love it when others do.

It's ironic how I fall just to get back up again...

I personally only do it when I talk to bronies. Implementing it in everyday language is annoying to the non-bronies I interact with.

I find people saying "Hey everypony!" and stuff like that overly redundant. It's just plain old stupid.

In my opinion, of course.

I HAD TO FALL TO LOSE IT ALL BUT IN THE END IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER /WRISTS

I can respect that. Like it says in magic.mov "It's just something everyone does because everyone else is doing it". Still, I think that it's all in the name of good fun, and it tend to be done with some degree of restraint.

I'll use Celestia instead of God occasionally on here or when talking with friends in Skype or whatever, usually for comedic effect, but never would I dredge it into in-person conversations. Even if there were bronies, it would just sound weird to me :P

I find myself simultaneously thinking about saying "Everypony" and "Everybody" sometimes in conversation.

Well, you know what they say: "If you know three languages, you're trilingual. If you know two languages, you're bilingual. If you know one language, you're American."
