Not as good looking as the dark knight (that and its predecessor was filmed in Chicago, this was filmed in Pittsburgh) I'll still watch it though, all though Catwoman has some criticism for the costume breaking away from tradition (same with the joker, but really cool!)

I was a fan of the Dark Knight, it's looking pretty good. It handled the idea of batman the way it should be, along the ideas of more serious stories. When it came to batman before hand, the movies weren't all that serious, so it's a nice breath of fresh air.

I think it will be awesome. But probably not as awesome as dark knight.

 

I tend to have strong opinions when it comes to movies so I'll try and be brief.

 

The Dark Knight is probably tied for the best superhero movie ever made. It is tied for the Tim Burton "Batman" film.

 

The new trilogy I have mixed opinions a about. Batman Begins I felt was a very lame and forgettable film trying to take advantage of the new "Comic Book Movie" fad that's sweeping Hollywood! (I feel this fad is okay, but most movies out of this tend to be lame and only existent to use the Superhero to gather crowds) The Dark Knight however stands tall as the best out of this fad. As a movie it was great, but how is it as a "Batman" Movie? It is really tied blow for blow with the Tim Burton Batman!

 

However the Tim Burton film matches the Batman essence better than The Dark Knight, therefore better "Batman" Movie, but The Dark Knight works as a better movie overall so they are forever deadlocked, a stalemate!

 

So The Dark Knight is a great re-imagination, modernized of Batman!

 

As for The Dark Knight Rises... well when it comes to Trilogies usually the Third and the First are about equal, but the Second, Middle bits are the real meat and cheese and the best part. Part One tried to take advantage of the Batman image, the second improved on the first one making an image for itself, but the third tries to take advantage of it's own new found image.

 

I look forward to this film and will see it in theaters. (A VERY rare occasion for me to want to pay to see a modern film so you're honored DKR!)
