Carrick nodded, "It's a possibility. We haven't seen Blaze ever since the incident with Daeva. Starbolt just disappeared after the incident."

 

Carrick saw Daeva screamed the skies exclaim that we'll get him out of there. "Blaze has been able to get himself out of trouble. Unless he's meeting the Grim Reaper himself, he'll be fine. As well as Starbolt. They'll both powerful magic users. Still, I rather not them actually do see the Grim Reaper. So we better think of ideas to know where they are."

Starbolt looked around.

"Blaze where are we?" She asked him.

'Don't touch the runes, they are extremely dangerous.' Fae warned Starbolt.

Starbolt attempted to blast the runes with her magic, attempting several magical projectiles, but failing to do anything.

Hypno shrugged "So should we all go out to try to find them?" he asked. "Could it have been this, Ice Star pony that had done this?" he asked curiously. Mainly because that was his first guess to their disappearances.

She went over to Carrick and said "We'd better move quick, if we waste any more of our time our friends might be killed!" as she whistled her pet wolf Dante over, she took two apples and handed one over to Carrick.

 

"Let's go!" said Daeva before she walked out of the cabin and in the direction of the path with her pet wolf.

"I don't think you should ask Blaze that, he probably doesn't know." The pony said as he continued to play his piano. The soothing tune really made him enjoyed the situation he was in. "You should try to listen to the music. Calm yourself down."

Hypno noticed that the ponies were getting ready to go. He looked to Snow "You're coming with right? Please come with?" he said with a smile at her anxiously. He definitely didn't want to leave her alone defenseless in a cabin out in a mountain.

"Starbolt- *ack*" Blaze's head still throbbing "This is a Multi rune runic circle. it serves multiple purposes because it is made of many different runes." Blaze tried to catch his breath "It- from what I can read- it translate to 'Magic Nullify' and 'Confine'. It is a prison spell"

"Blaze could easily take on the Grim Reaper; He's just a specter that leads souls to the other side. Blaze would have much more trouble with Shinigami. Those aholes are what gave the Grim Reaper a bad name," Quick says, kicking the ground, "And I have a feeling, a gut instinct, that where ever they are, we aren't gunna find them unless we find our objective."

"It was figure of speech,Quick" Carrick said as he caught the apple and followed the path again. It was probably a good idea to rush this.

 

"Nothing will be safe in these mountains soon..." Snow said, "If anything you and me should just leave now, they'll be coming soon."

 

The pony frowned, "You know it isn't nice for you to ignore ponies. I can makes things a bit....troubling for you, Blaze and Starbolt."

Daeva was near the path where she got attacked by Snow and where she almost lost her life if Carrick didn't jump in to save her, though that's all in the past and she had to find out where this path leads to so she started hiking up the road.

Hypno didn't know exactly what to decide. He could either leave with the pony he valued as a friend and trusted. Or leave with the ponies that didn't trust him and try to help out a pony that attempted to kill him. "Well, if you come with us were probably going to run into that Ice Star guy?" he pleaded, trying to convince her.

"We should continue on the path that we were traveling before the incident," he says to himself, following Carrick anyways, because he didn't want to start up another conflict. He sighed, I wonder if Hypno has a finding spell. Or maybe, did he bite one of them? Besides being unethical, he could track them down if he did...

"You- were you the one who put up this circle to trap me?" Blaze asked the musical pony. none of this adds up, I remember asking Carrick about when we were going to venture up the mountain, but then... I dont remember anything Blaze thought

"Indeed, a complex circle I might add. Just for you, I wasn't really excepting Starbolt over here, but it's a two and one" The pony stopped playing. He took a sip of his wine on top of the piano. "I'm here to talk to you. Just a simple conversation, that's all."

 

Carrick saw the other battlefield, the crazy tackle to save Deava. A pony he barely knew much of. Now, he's still considered other ideas. Ideas of kicking her out of the case. She's been...unstable. Though the conversation of relationship was started by him. There has been other situations as well where he had to risk his life because of her.

 

Snow eyes widen, she looked straight down "He wouldn't want me anymore...I'm just a useless mare."

"You're not just a useless mare" He retorted thoughtfully. He didn't want to leave her, seeing then her mental and physical safety were at risk. He was either going to have to convince her to come, or leave with her.

" What do you have to talk to me about? And just who in the hoof are you to begin with?" Blaze said, though he had a feeling that he knew exactly who this pony was, but he needed to know for sure. Nothing added up.

Quickly came up next to Carrick, "If you keep staring at her, her mane'll grow grey. Even so, I can tell your thinking, you get that look in your eyes. I can guess about what to. If you boot her out, she'll probably go rogue and search for herself. And I would much rather have that particular pony on our side. Plus, I'll bet if you tried, she'd make a great friend someday. You ever think that maybe you weren't only sent here to complete a case, Carrick?" And then he pokes him, "You're it, no tag backs," and grins.

Daeva made a stupid move to go alone to the path, the others were not around so she had no choice but to travel back to the cabin on foot because of Dante.

 

She started walking back to the cabin with her pet wolf.

Carrick gave a heh to Quick "I don't think you understand. If she goes, Blaze goes as well. They're a package deal. To be honest, I've consider all of you out of this case. You all have your advantage, I'll admit, but everytime we try to go on to the case. We've been sidetracked. If I've been going solo, I've might of been done with this case by now."

 

"Emotions plague us with indecision. We are blinded by it, I rather lose it." Carrick said

Quick turns to him, "Think about it, that pony in he cabin who had her horn tied, do you think you could've took her by yourself? And that train ride, the one that blew up a few days ago? A few ponies matching you're description were reportedly seen fleeing that site. I have a feeling no-pony would've survived that without ALL of you guys. And then there was that bar-fight after a prison break a few weeks back... I can't really imagine how that's a positive, but I've heard bar-fights are fun. Having never been in a bar personally..."

Hypno waited for a few moments "So what's your decision, you coming with me or am i gonna come with you?" He asked her with a smile. "But if you did leave, where would you go?" He asked her curiously

Carrick gave a hearty laugh, "The bar fight started because Blaze became intoxicated and I wanted to join in on the fun. The fight between Snow started because Daeva wanted to be the hero. If I was alone, I would of made alternative plan to fight her in wits rather than in magic. The fleeing of the scene probably would of ended with Princess Celestia. However, I do have a good tongue to convince ponies. The train scene...well you got me there."

 

Carrick took off his fedora hat, "Don't underestimate me. I know what I'm doing. I'm just considering this things, I'd take every detail and make a decision. I only take rash decision when necessary. This isn't a rash decision." Carrick said.

 

"Just a simple proposition. It's technically for you, however. Starbolt can join in as well." The pony started to play again. The sound of violins started to came through the ears of Blaze and Starbolt, however no ponies were around to play it.

 

"I have a question for you. Do you know what Ice Star is doing?"

"Did that pony seem rational to you? You did break her, I'll give you that, but even now, I'll bet she's loyal to Ice Star. And yes, you have a silver tongue, probably blessed by Celestia, but I really question weather or not she'd give you the oppertunity. If you really want me to leave though, I'll go off by myself and look for Rainbow Dash. Or, maybe, just start to resort mmy life out. This mountain has totally changed me, and I don't know if it's for the better... I dunno, I feel calmer, but also like a walking encyclopedia of the supernatural and undead.""

Hypno shrugged "Well, i heard something about stopping time. But other than that... Nope" he said to her unsure why she asked that. He had been wondering why these ponies were looking for this Stallion, so this seemed like the time he was going to find out.
