Blood found Zeriff's attitude hilariously daft and rather obnoxious. He watched as he had his staff at his side as Blaze took the cut. "Let the games begin" He said to himself with a grin as he chuckled

Quickly noticed a very large mp blast, which he figured was the city. He then saw a weaker blast with Blaze's signature.He teleported, that's good. Wait, where the buck is he... WHY DOESN'T HE EVER FRIGGIN' REGROUP! "Fight in Filly, pack your stuff ladies and gentlman," he says, snapping out his wings. He took off and accelerated to top speed with a technique Rainbow Dash taught him. (Quicks top speed is about 3 times slower than a Sonic Rainboom, which is still pretty fast) He saw, from a distance, Blaze's wings get cut, "YOU IDIOT! YOU NEVER EVER WANT TO FIGHT WITH THE GROUP! UGGGGGGGGGGG!" he screamed frustrated.

Daeva saw Zerriff slicing through Blaze's ward and into his wing, blood started dripping down and onto her shoulder.

 

"Stop right now Zerrif, if you continue I'll kill you or die trying." She said as she stood in a agressive stance.

Blaze was now not only fatigued and dizzy from using magic, but he was also becoming woozy from anemia. So much blood had poured out of him that he was unable to stop it all with magic, Blaze slumped over and blacked out.

 

"Ahahaha" Zerrif laughed mockingly, "what can a weak little mare do to me, a mantygre swordsmaster? Hmm?" Zerrif noticed Quick "Reinforcements eh?" Zerrif slashed his sword through the air as hard as he could, a wave of sharp compressed air arced out at Quick, leaving a groove cut in the ground on the path it traveled.

"I might not be able to do much damage but I know that the demon inside of me can.." she said before she starting turning into the demonic chaos, she started growling as her eyes starting glowly bright purple.

 

Multi-coloured waves started radiating around her as the ground started shaking a little bit. She approached Zerrif, her hooves crushing the road as her hooves touched the ground.

 

"Ready.. To DIE?!" She said in a demonic and deep voice, she was slightly struggling from controlling the demon but she knew what she was doing..

Starbolt watched in horror as the city began to get crushed. "Dear Celestia...." She mumbled. She saw Quick fly to the crater that once was a great city. "Fae let's go." She said as she ran towards the city.

'Hold on Starbolt.' Fae said as she teleported both of them closer to the city.

Carrick laid there flat on the floor. He felt the ground vibration all over, unknowing what it was. Did he do something with the city? From what he said that it sounded like he would destroy the town. Carrick didn't know how to react, he was useless. The detective was battered and beaten. Stuck in a place where an earth pony or a pegasus is useless(Well except, Daeava). All he could do is wait for the next encounter with him...

Quickly did something rather odd. He took out something from his bag and tossed it around him, like a shroud. The compressed air looked like it went straight through him, with blood and everything. And then Quickly appeered next to Blaze, "You never, ever want to fight your battles with the rest of us, do you?"

Zerrif felt the power emanating from Daeva, it did not detour him, in fact, he started to crack a wicked smile "Well then, it looks like the little mare actually has some tricks up her sleeve. But I doubt it will matter, at least this will be more fun" He was gone, but instantly reappeared behind Daeva chopping at her head attempting to behead it.

Daeva looked at Blaze and Quickly and told them "Get away.. From.. Me.." as she was about to lay waste to that pony and she wouldn't want to hurt either of them.

 

She wasn't that far away from Zerrif but they weren't close either, she threw up a medium sized aura that should protect her from one blow of his sword before it shatters.

 

He disappeared right in front of her eyes and she knew he's always trying to flank everypony, she quickly dodged the hit and turned her head slightly, enough to see Zerrif.

 

"Thats it?" She said quietly.

Starbolt saw Zerrif attack Quick. She immediately fired a bolt of lightning towards him.

Fae augmented the lighting with her magic and the bolt became bigger.

Starbolt readied another spell to counter anything Zerrif throws at her.

"Three more seconds untill it teleports me back," he mumbles. He quickly takes something out two things out of his bag. A bandage, and a hoofcuff, drops them at Blaze's feet, and shimmers. Where he was before also shimmered and he apeered, with his wings out.

Zerrif was not amused, he jumped in the air and shouted "TIGER CLAW BARRAGE" as he slashed the air rapidly sending waves of sharp compressed air down at the ponies, some of them missing and causing compressed air explosions next to the ponies.

Quick, who was now flying back, kinda giggled to himself as he was not there for the barrage of the Mantyger. Weaknesses; Eyes, feals pain in the male spot, Achilies heal, between ribs. If you can get close, neck.

She saw slices of compressed air flying near her, one scratched the barrier around her as a few pieces broke but was still intact.

 

As Zerrif landed, Daeva placed a trap at where he was going to land, it was a hole that zombies stuck their hands out and grabbed anything that was moving.

 

It clawed onto his legs, holding him still as Daeva casted multiple cluster bombs that would explode on impact straight at Zerrif.

Starbolt put up a barrier that blocked several of the projectiles.

She then shot several fire and lighting bolts towards the mantyger.

Fae summoned roots and rooted Zerrif's feet to the ground.

Blood looked at Starbolt as she used her magic. He charged up his staff and fired a bolt of magic from the mouth of the skull that was spiked onto the staff. He laughed as the magic bolt shot out towards her with speed towards her side where the shield wasn't placed

Everything was rushing toward zerrif, it looked pretty bleak for the mantygre. But as all the projectiles closed in he quickly whipped his sword around creating a sharp compressed air barrier that sliced stopped every projectile from hitting him. The cluster bombs that Daeva had launched were cut in half dissipating the demon magic. The light and fire was negated by the wall of compressed air. The zombie clawas and roots were sliced and Zerrif leaped in mid air, and just stood there, in mid air as if he was standing on an invisible staircase.

 

"Well it seems you outnumber me a great deal, Ice Star told me to only kill Blaze and Daeva but leave the rest of you alive. So I cant very well go full strength on you. I think I will send you off now. But before I do, I can't very well let you leave with the information you have now" Zerrif pulled out a bottle of red liquid, he threw it up in the air and slashed it with compressed air multiple times, it released the liquid all over the ponies. They began to lose recent memories, no not the memories themselves, they still knew the subject matter, they just began to forget the minor details. They started to forget where they were and how they got there, they know that they were searching for carrick and ice star's general, but they lost the details of where they were and what leads they had.

 

Zerrif whipped his sword at the ground creating a rune out of cuts. He then pulled out a bottle of concetrated mp and broke it down on the rune. The rune started to glow, it created a suction force, pulling everypony into the rune. All the ponies were sucked up into the rune which was a portal rune, it dispensed them on the outskirts of canterlot.

She saw the spells casted at Zerrif was completely useless, she wanted to try again but it was too late as he already sliced everything off and flew into the air and releasing some kind of liquid.

 

Her barrier covered her from most of the liquid but a little bit got her, memories started fading away but not all of it.

 

Everypony then got sucked into a portal and fell into the outskirts of Canterlot.

 

Daeva turned back to normal and said "Dammit, I thought I had that bastard.." as she stood back up and looked into the skies.

Blood was out of range of the rune. But the blast missed Starbolt "Well, that was anticlimactic, way to ruin my fun, tiddlewinks the tiger..." He said as he walked into the building not giving Zarrif as second glance as he walked inside looking for the pony he was supposed to find.

Starbolt stood up. Quite dizzy. 'Where?' She thought confused.

Fae flew next to her. 'How did we get here? I remember some weird tiger thing and a city but not which one.'

She said to herself "I won't let you go that easily Zerrif" as she tried to regain her previously lost memory, she felt a littlle bit tired so she sat down on the cold grass she closed her eyes.

 

She started thinking about what would have happened if Blaze wasn't there to take the blow.

 

"I'm so sorry Blaze.." she said quietly as tears started to drip from her eyes.

Blaze woke from his anemia induced blackout. The pain from his wing made him dizzy as he attempted to stand. He tried to recall the events as they played out.

 

Carrick had got a lead on where ice star's general was hiding, where was that again Blaze thought. They traveled a long distance all the while training, and once the reached their destination they found out that Carrick had been coltnapped. Something happened and there was some sort of destruction. A mantygre, no, Zerrif had shown up and sliced Blaze's wing. Something happened and now they were here, on the outskirts of Canterlot.

 

Blaze let out a yelp as he stood "I need to get my wing properly bandaged and we need a place to stay... lets go to my aunts manor." Blaze suggested.

Blood went for the door talking to Zarrif "Urgh, you were just too ignorant to let me help you." He said as he opened it to the tower "And Kellogg called, they want their cereal mascot back. Yeah, get dunked." He remarked as he shut it and walked inside.

Daeve swept her tears away and said "We were at Fillydelphia, near this tower.. We got sucked into a portal and we forgot what happened because of this potion he tossed at us.." as she went over and layed on his chest.
