Blaze unconscious, did not hear, nor could he answer Hypno's question. He just lay there unconscious.

 

Aunty Vyra trotted over to him and slumped him on her back. She carried him upstairs to his old room and lay him on his bed and gave him a kiss on the forehead before tucking the covers over him.

Starbolt heard Carrick's voice and immediately felt better. "Carrick! I-I thought they......." Her voice trailed off. She wiped her tears and ran next to him.

 

Fae flew next to Blaze and checked up on him to see if he was okay. The acid pony seemed to have fled the battle.

Wings was a bit worried about Quick's health. He doesn't seem to be ready to do anything too risky, "You sure about this? You can stay here for a bit so you don't sleep on the ground somewhere." Wings said.

Carrick embraced her yet again, though he hugged her before. It still felt nice to feel her body on him. "No, they seem to need me for something. For which I still don't know what." Carrick said. He felt a bit concerned by it. He rather not be the reason that Ice Star finally becomes the creator of ponykind.

Hypno looked around and thought. If Noxus came here, maybe Blood had sent him somewhere else before. He quickly ran back to his house worried. He opened the door rather quickly to find that everyone looked fine. Midnight was simply reading a book, and his two guards were in the backyard playing with the ferret.

 

He let out a deep breath and walked inside his house. "For a second there i thought you guys were attacked" He chuckled then looked to Snow "The house treating you okay?" He said as he started to walk over to her.

"I'm fin-n-ne," he says, obviously not. A small trickle of red ran down his leg as he stumbles out the door. He begins stumbling down the path and falls over. He gets back up and walks a little further, falls down, and begins dragging himself. His only thoughts were Do the job, try again. Do the job, try again! He passes out.

As Daeva was following Fae a phoenix flew down with a scroll in her mouth, she handed it over to me and I opened it. It told me not to worry about Starbolt and that she should come back to Canterlot as soon as possible.

 

"Well that was a waste of time.." she said as she gave the place a look before she flew back to Canterlot.

Once Hypno reached Snow he hugged her. His body presence was seemingly cold but warm at the same time.

 

Midnight shelved his book and sat back on the couch.

She flew in the direction until she saw Canterlot. "Hmm.. What should I do.." she thought as she approached and landed inside. There was a flower stall in the market so she walked over and picked up some white lilies, paid the stall keeper and left without a word. As she was heading back to the Manor, she saw a gap between the door.

 

"Seems like somepony forgot to close the door.." she mumbled as she went in and shut the door behind her. Daeva went into Blaze's room and saw him in bed, so she placed the flowers on the table beside him and crawled in bed with him gently so she doesn't wake him up and gave him a kiss before she fell asleep.

"I wonder why they didn't kill me either. Will they use us as some sort of fuel for their magical ritual or spell?" Starbolt asked Carrick trying to figure out why they weren't just killed.

"I never did get to stop by my mother's place while I was in Canterlot." She added sadly.

 

Fae hovered outside of Blaze's manor on the lookout for any other hostile ponies.

Carrick nodded, he had thought of that scenario when he was inside this jail and it was the most logical. "Probably, from the way I see it. It might some sort of poetic justice. Since you and I as well as the others are trying to stop their plans. We'll be the final pieces of the puzzle to what Ice Star wants. It's either that or he wants us to watch the whole world around us burn and transform." Carrick said.

Even though Daeva tried her best not to disturb Blaze, Blaze was awoken anyway. He slowly opened his eyes to see Daeva already asleep in his bed. He wrapped his hooves around Daeva and pulled her into a warm embrace, and he embraced her until he fell asleep.

 

Morning came quickly, more quickly then he had anticipated. The light shone in through the curtains and disturbed his deep sleep, dragging him from the depths of his subconscious. He noticed even though he was still embracing Daeva she had turned over in her sleep and was facing him. He knew he was not going to be able get up without disturbing her sleep so instead he decided to wake her up with a kiss. The kiss at first felt a little lifeless because she was sleeping but it was still as exhilarating as any kiss he had had with her before.

Midnight walked outside and looked at his two guards playing around with a super sized ferret. He sighed at his hoof-soldiers as he walked over to them "At least try to make it look like you are guarding something" He said irritatingly. The guards straightened themselves up and gave a salute.

Daeva was woken up by the kiss that Blaze has given her, it filled her with happiness as she continued kissing with him passionately for a minute of two. "Hehe.. Good morning Blaze.." she said as she blushed a little.

 

She went over and grabbed with flowers from the table and handed it over to Blaze, "Do you like them?" she asked with a smile on her face.

"Morning to you too cutie," Blaze said with a smile. He got out of bed at stretched a bit, he gasped when he overstretched his injured wing. He walked over to Daeva holding out the lilies. He stuck his muzzle in the bouquet and took a deep sniff. "Ahh, white lilies otherwise known as Lilium Candidum. I love them Daeve! What do you say we go down stairs and get some grub, we can find a vase for these downstairs" Blaze said he walked with Daeva downstairs, the smell of eggs and bacon (veggie) filled his lungs and made his stomach rumble. They entered the dining room where Blaze found a nice red ornate vase, he filled it with water and teleported them back up to his room. He sat down at the dining table where there was a large spread, he filled a chalice with coffee, levitated two biscuits, some bacon, some eggs, a waffle and some syrup onto his plate, he did the same for Daeva's plate. He pulled out a chair for her to sit down and sat down next to her.

"Geoffry!" Blaze yelled

Geoffry walked up to him, with a big black eye and a bandaged muzzle "Sir?"

"Woah, what happened to you?" Blaze asked

"The... er.. encounter that happened last night, well suffice it to say I was wounded. I woke up and spent the rest of the night cleaning up this mess. I got no sleep" Geoffry said

"Oh... well take the day off Geoffry you earned it. Oh and is that today's paper?" Blaze asked pointing at the paper in Geoffry's hooves

"Um, yes sir it is"

Blaze levitated it from him and thanked him for it. He started reading as he ate.

Daeva followed Blaze down the stairs as he prepared food for the both of them, she looked out the window and saw birds singing as they stood on the tree outside. She was staring outside of the window for quite some time until she noticed that Blaze was levitating the food onto the plates.

 

"Mmm.. I'm starving!" she said as she went over and started eating the food. It didn't take long at all before the food on her plate completely disappeared, leaving some crumbs behind and finishing with a sip of water.

"So, I think it is about time that we go back to Filly. I still need to figure out some stuff that I would like to talk with Hypno about. I wonder where Hypno is? Anyway we need to figure out what what ponies we have on our side, we can't just go in alone, and princess Celestia can't help us in that department. So what to do?" Blaze said as he ate the final bite of the food on his plate and downed it with the rest of his coffee.

Clocks walked out of a room with a cup of half coffee half blood in his hooves. He sit down in a chair and started to sip it looking as rich as he possibly could as he did so.

 

Aces had been upstairs in hypno's house, sleeping. After walking all that way he had grown tired. He slowly woke up and got out of bed.

Starbolt sat next to Carrick. "From what I've heard there's a runic trap here, if I cast my magic the same thing that happened to Blaze will happen to me....." Starbolt said her tone rather disturbed from the ides of losing her magic. She tried to think of a way out of the cell without magic but found none.

Quickly cried into the ground. I'm a failure. I can't protect my friends, I can't protect my honor, I can't even protect myself. I deserve to die, he thinks. He gets halfway to his hooves and falls again. He looked into the sky, and right before passing out, sends out a prayer to Luna.

Snow closed his eyes and enjoyed the embrace. She was a bit confused on why he was hugging him. What is going on? Did something bad happened? "Did something happened when you left, Hypno?" Snow asked. A bit concerned about Hypno since that hug seemed....random.

Wings sighed and pulled Quick back into the house.He placed him on a bed so he can rest in peace. He should really know when to rest so he doesn't kill himself. Wings went back to the other room. He didn't know how to feel about Quick just yet. He wasn't a fan of true love. He just love a stallion's body and his wasn't pretty good from all the exercise he's does. Wings sat down and took a book out of a library. He began reading...

Carrick pulled his hoof over Starbolt's shoulder, "I hate to say it, but we're going to have to wait for the others to break us out. There is no way out without some strong backlash. Hopefully, they will come soon." He closed his eyes and tried to relax for a second.

As Hypno held onto her he started to smell an all to familiar aroma. The tangy smell of blood. The copper-y taste he could almost feel. He hadn't eaten anything lately, so his senses had heightened. Hypno let go and scratched his head "Well, yes. Blaze's manor house thing and the group were attacked, to put it simply. I had a feeling that the attacker might of come here first, so i got worried and came back to check and see if everypony was still okay." He explained

Half of him felt he was being dragged. Just let me die. I might as well, with all the honor I've lost. He felt himself placed in a bed, and couldn't stop himself from sleeping. His dreams were confusing; One had Starbolt and Carrick in a dark chamber, the others were feverish dreams from Alicorn Island. He woke with a start as his dream self touched the tablet. Daylight streamed in threw his window, and hit a mirror. He got up and looked at himself dejectedly. He observed his haunted eyes and put on his goggles to cover them up. I don't exactly look like a dateable pony anyway he thinks, I look like a poster for a wings workout program. I wouldn't want me anyway... He looks at the scratch on his side. The cut was so clean it had bleed ever since Zariff had sliced him. It hurt, but he would live. He went downstairs and snuck past Wings. He left a note on the door and flew off.

I'm going to go try to restore some of the honor I've lost over the years; If I don't then I'll be hunted down by other Nighthunters until I die or restore my honor. Snow felt a bit uncomfortable when Hypno sniffed her. No mare really like a stallion to just randomly smell her coat. She gave a small look of disgust before she shook it off and answered Hypno.

 

"No pony was here," Snow said. She thought that the pony who attacked Blaze's manor must of been one of the ponies who was with Ice Star. She wonder if it was one of the Ningues Devoto. It seemed like the most plausible, since she really didn't know about Blood and his plan to destroy both teams. "just been pretty quiet around here."

Hypno nodded, slightly noticing her look. "Good, therefor i guess that we are home free for now" He chuckled. Hypno's mind drifted back to his conversation with Blaze, where he told him that he had the three things he couldn't have. And that still held and always seemingly hold true. He softly sighed before turning back to the entire room combined "If anyone needs anything ask the ferret, i'm going to be heading out really soon..." He said sounding slightly down now.

 

"I guess i'll just... be in here for now if anypony... needs me" He said as he waked into another room and shut the door behind him. He sat into a rather regal looking chair and started at the door for a few seconds before playing "La Dona E Mobile" on a record player. He wished that somepony would open the door and actually talk to him like a friend. But by the time this war was over he knew he would end up with none.

Snow blinked when the Hypno left the way he did, he sound pretty down. Was it her fault? Was it because she gave that look when he sniffed her? Snow wanted to find out, she went to Hypno's door. She stared at it for a few seconds. 'This is Hynpo's room.' She wonder what entails inside the room. She gave tree loud knocks, "Hypno? Are you okay?" She asked.
