Here’s a (very) rough sketch I did of Twilight. Nothing much. Just something to keep myself in practice while I’m away from my tablet.

Um, to be truthful, the figure looks skinny and malnourished in the image. Of course that may be your style of art, but just not sure what you are going for here in the picture.

 

Don't get me wrong, it's nicely detailed and fun to look at still, and would like to see what ink would do for it.

Maybe go a bit lihter on the outline of the ribcage; Twilight looks pretty starved (if that wasn't your intention all along).

Also the anklejoint on the right hindlegs looks a wee bit off.

Are you referring to her right leg or from our perspective?

 

Also, if Twilight is anything like I am when I get really into something (which she more than likely is.) Eating becomes a very low priority.

My inspiration for this came from the thought of Twilight working for weeks on a massive spell and as a result, the only time she's stopped to eat was when Spike or any other of her friends intervened and forced her to take a break.

Don't ever be reluctant to be critical. I would rather have brutal honesty over undeserved praise any day. One lets me stay blissfully unaware of my downsides, the other helps me grow as an artist.

It wasn't that I was trying to NOT be too critical at all. I just thought the image as it stands could use some inking and it wouldn't look too bad.

 

I've seen some art styles that differ from person to person, and this looks like someone's style is being performed on Twilight; it's that or you stretched the figures body tremendously without thought.

 

Still stand by what I said, the figure looks like someone put her in a closet and just recently, after a week in there, let her out. It's an interesting look on a different way to draw her and I like it. Would just prefer some color is all.
