Discordian 6,015 December 22, 2011 Share December 22, 2011 I know I always have. Though it took me a bit to realize that they were the same thing I've always said "eeyup" long before MLP:FiM was ever even thought up.

Little Miss Fluttershy 678 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 I didn't say it that way but closer to "yup" than "eeyup" Signature made by Cloud Chaser. Ask her to make you one!
Applesmack & Brandy 121 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 I've said "eyup" and "nope" for along time, but it is part of my accent. "The Southern Gentleman"
jdb1984 14 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 A family member of Gopher from Winnie the Pooh always said it, along with "Nope". When Gopher said that he "was a man of few words", Tigger remarked that he "seemed to be a man of two words" 1 If you want to follow me on Fimfiction, you can go to my account page here. Shankveld 4,950 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 Well I come from a farming family so I heard it all the time, but never said it for fear of being laughed at ~
Klopp 2,050 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 Never said "Eeyup", not even since I started watching the show. However, I have been saying "yay~" for ages now. Similar to the way Fluttershy says it in "Sonic Rainboom", but in a deeper, man voice. Cause, ya know, I am a man and all. I believe this qualifies for this Topic as well. BEcause of my Pinkie Pie like ridiculous nature, I have had people say things to me that were said about Pinkie throughout the series as well. Such as "Oh, that's just Ben being Ben.", and "You're just so RANDOM!"
Doctor XFizzle 8,669 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 I'm pretty sure I've said "Muffinnnnsssss" at some point in my life before Derpy said it MLP Forums' resident timelord, sports dilettante, and purveyor of wit and humor~*Traveling Timelord Nonpareil*~
D1SC0RD 987 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 I used to say "_____, you are so random.". Other than that, I don't think I've quoted ponies from the show, without actually watching the show in the first place. But sometimes, I'll say things and remember a pony saying it. But I don't realize until 30 seconds after uttering the phrase. Then I laugh.
Evilshy 5,090 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 They did on King of the Hill. Not me personally tho. I sometimes said it for precisely this reason. I love king of the hill 2 Signature now 99% less edgy!

83awsm 234 December 23, 2011 Share December 23, 2011 I've always used "Yep" or "Yup" but never with the elongated eeyup at the beginning. I definitely remember hearing the phrase on King of the Hill back in the day before I did on MLP. Awesomeness = at least 20% Cooler.
