SDCC Rainbow Dash Foil Card?

So I was browsing ebay for some trading cards, and I saw a Rainbow Dash foil card, apparently being handed out at the San Diego Comic Con, going for $91.

 

I didn't even know that there was an exclusive Comic Con Rainbow Dash card. I don't see it anywhere on the Internet except for that one ebay seller.

 

So does anyone know if this card is legit? Because if it is, I'm screwed, because I'll never have a complete collection of cards if Rainbow Dash is typically going to go for $91.

$91 for a piece of card is NOT a sensible thing to do -- especially if it's just a pony. If it were a TCG -- which would be AMAZING -- then it might be a different story... It's still a totally heinous price to pay, and I would not consider it legitimate if only one person on the internet is putting it up for auction and you were unaware of the card's existence until this time. The card will only decrease in value as the show loses traction and the community begins to fade, so unless you're a dedicated brony, I'd say hold off until that happens. Patience is a virtue that is more often rewarded than not.

 

Seriously, don't buy the card. There's a lot more things worthy of your attention for $90+.

I think it might be real. There's another one on eBay now from a different seller. Supposedly its number is F37.

I wasn't going to buy that specific card. I do NOT have $91 to spare on a piece of paper. I'll pay 15 bucks tops for a rare foil card, significantly less than that for the common ones.

 

If the card is legit, I'll keep looking for it on eBay to see if I can find better deals. I just wanna know if it is.

Here's one and here's the other. If they are indeed legit, the sellers were somehow able to get more than one card because there seems to be two listing for each. It's possible they had someone else get it for them.

 

Personally, if the card is real, I want it, but I'll wait to see if the price goes down any or if I can find a deal elsewhere.

Exactly. The second price is better, but still hefty for a trading card.

 

And I thought I had it good when attending Bronycon... apparently it wasn't enough. :V

I think these are the only cards from F29 to F40 to be revealed so my guess is that this range is reserved for exclusive cards that will be given away at certain events. As much as I would like to have a complete collection, I don't know if I'll be able to get all these.
