Why fluttershy is being sold short

Which is odd to me, I heavily dislike male characters of the shy weakling personality type, but with Fluttershy, a female, I like her. I think it's because she's a girl so she can pull off the adorableness without it seeming weird, a guy being adorable is just a massive turn off to me, seeing a guy being a shy weak scaredy cat trying to be adorable to me at the same time is just.....no.

Honestly, I agree (except I don't like her with Big Mac). Rainbow Dash gets the attention Fluttershy deserves
