Who's your favorite pony singer?

I just wanted to know everypony's opinion of who, out of the Mane 6, is your favorite singer during the songs and music scenes in the show.

 

You can aslo discuss about specific songs by specific ponies you enjoy.

 

For me, my favorite singers are both Applejack and Rarity.

But if I had to pick only one, it would be Rarity, because her songs reminds me of the old Disney cartoons' songs~

'Becoming Popular' is a perfect example I have.

Sorry for not adding the other wonderful singers we have along the show, like Flim & Flam, the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Cadance. Their roles aren't just small compared to the Mane 6, but I'm also sure I'll be always forgetting some character as my memory is rather bad...

Twilight is my favorite singing pony. If not only for the season 2 finale. (BBBFF & Love is in Bloom).

Rarity is a close second. Art of the Dress and Becoming Popular were awesome songs.

Rarity has such a lovely voice and accent! I particularly love Becoming Popular. And Apple Bloom has the most adorable accent How can you not just want to hug her every time she sings or speaks?

Pinkie Pie has an amazing singing voice, and she has the best songs. Smile Smile Smile, Giggle At The Ghosties, Cupcakes, and all her little short's are all amazing.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash. Rainbow has that AWESOME voice that is perfect for metal, while Twilight's harmonizes with instruments really well.

Rarity for sure, not just of the Mane 6 but out of the whole cast as well. Her singing voice actress, Kazumi Evans, has an incredibly mature singing voice unlike any of the other Mane 6 singing voices. And wouldn't ya know it, her sister Sweetie Belle comes in a close second for me, and why wouldn't she? She sings more than most of the ponies on the show in almost every CMC episode, has a fantastic singing voice for her age, and it's also been strongly hinted that singing is her special talent!!! Let's give it up for the two best singing-sisters in Equestria!!!

Everypony's Favorites

 

Who's my favorite pony singer? A great question.

 

The problem is it's not a platitude to say they are all my favorites. Every single one of them is simply amazing.

 

I note that Sweetie Belle isn't listed, but her singer, Michelle Creber (who also voices Apple Bloom) is insanely talented and has a beautiful voice.

 

I will say that I really, really liked Ashleigh and Andrea's duet chemistry in The Find A Pet Song. Simply phenomenal, and how could I choose between such a perfect pair?

 

Kazumi Evans put the most joyous lilt into Rarity's voice in The Art of the Dress. It's impossible not to be enchanted by that delightful song.

 

Like Kazumi, Shannon Chan-Kent pours happiness into her vocals, right down to the way she sings the word "ponies" with a buoyant, plosive lilt. It's impossible to listen to Smile Smile Smile without smiling, and we can thank Shannon for that.

 

And then there's Twilight. As mentioned above, her singer, Rebecca Shoichet, absolutely killed in Winter Wrap Up. So much emotion, so much power! And anyone who isn't touched by BBBFF has a heart of stone.

 

Thus I must abstain from voting, because I can't really single any of them out, and voting for all the choices would exclude Michelle, who definitely does not deserve to be excluded.

 

So how's all that for a "non-vote"?

It's a tie between Rarity and Twilight... I really can't decide. Fluttershy's voice is calming so I like her singing too, Pinkie's songs are awesome, and Applejack and Rainbowdash have apparently good singing voices even though they haven't gotten their own songs yet...

Twilight voice, (although it's different from her actual voice) Always melts my heart!

Pinkie's voice always lifts my day

I was impressed by Rainbow Dash

And I wish Applejack sang more!

 

Fluttershy is just ordinary, but still pretty good.

And I think I'm the only one not moved by Rarity's singing

I guesses it depends on the song and how they are singing it.

 

Twilight can sing songs that are up lifting and songs that come off sad and calm at times. This may be why I like her singing the most.

 

Pinkie Pie always makes me feel good when she sings. She may have silly songs, but still she makes me feel good when I here them.

 

When Rarity sings it feels likes she is putting a lot of power into her singing. It just feels like she trying very hard to sing well, which is good.

 

Fluttershy I think could be a good singer, but we have yet to here her sing a long song

 

As for AJ and RD They just need a song to them selfs before I can say anything about them.
