A Warm Cup 'O' Joe

So, as you may or may not know, I am currently on vacation in Canada. So I've been away from my tablet and will be for the next few weeks. However, just because I'm not doing digital art at the moment, does not mean I'm not drawing at all.

So on that note, have some hand drawn Twilight Sparkle, enjoying a warm cup of joe on a cold winter morning.

Very nice! I like the scarf as well, it just looks so right on her....and coooot!

Is it wrong that it reminded me of Sonic Battle a bit? The straight lines did that cool thing which makes things more defined and good.

 

I don't really know what I'm saying any more - this is good, I'll leave it at that.

I would have made the mane and snout a little softer around the edges, just because, well, because I would. But this style is very nicely drawn, and those eyes are simply stunning, while they still stay nice and simplistic. The pupil looks a bit off when it hides behind that larger glare in her eye, but at this point, I'm just nit-picking.

This is really good, but does anyone else notice a sharpness to it? Like, her ears and features are really pointy.........But I'm not saying it's bad it's really good and I jealous of your drawing skill.

Yes, yes they do. They also say Aboot (about), and oot (out). In fact, after a while, I started instinctively picking up the accent. A skill/curse I have.

This is a pretty good representation of what I like most about cold weather. Being indoors feels so cozy and all the worlds problems seem to melt away when you sit down and enjoy a nice hot refreshment. The effect is amplified when you wear your favorite sweater and you just feel like a warm toasty cinnamon bun.
