First off, I'm going by what I see around me, and I won't call anyone out because I'm not a dick like that.

 

Second off, I never claimed it to be fact, I just said what I saw. Some of my best friends are RD fans.

 

Ah, some of your friends are RD fans and apparently some of those friends aren't "legit" fans and some people on these forums aren't "legit", therefor a "good portion" of the entire fanbase are not "legit". Yeah, I don't buy it...

Don't put words in my mouth. Never said that about my friends.

 

RD has one of the, if not the, largest fanbases of any pony, and just because I come across someone does NOT mean that they're my friend. I've come across you, and are you my friend? No; and with the large fanbase she has, one is bound to come across plenty of RD fans when they join the fandom.

 

Furthermore, I don't care if you buy it, Rivendare. I don't buy any of what you're saying, personally; just know that this is my opinion, and I'm going to need actual convincing to have it changed rather than "Why do you feel that way? That's baseless." Or some other cop-out argument as such, which, you've given me no reasoning as to how that's "baseless" by the way.

 

Also, I am on other MLP sites than just this forum, by the way, so I'm not just talking about the ones on this forum.

 

I don't hold anything against her fans, I'm just stating my honest opinion.

And as for proof, I can't give you anything you'll be satisfied with apparently, given I've said it's just a feeling I've gotten from most of the ones I've come into contact with, and I refuse to directly call anyone out. I'm just saying I've gotten that feel from a majority of the ones I've seen.

 

Also, as long as they're kind to me, I don't care why they're here, I'll be cool with them

America is over rated. Game's in general is gating worse and worse and grandly more boring. Call of Duty is not that great. Starcraft 2 is over rated as RTS. World of Warcraft is gating old just face it. People say that money doesn't buy happiness, they must not never in there life been in poor. I kinda like MLP g1 when i, was a kid. Teenager complain way to much abut school, just you wait, to day you will miss school.

Here's one that's gotten me into a few arguments:

 

I am never wrong.

 

Allow me to explain:

 

The very idea of having an opinion is that you not only agree with something but believe that you are right in the matter. This doesn't mean you can't accept other people's opinions but one does not inherently believe they are wrong when they take a side.

 

The idea that opinions cannot be right and wrong comes from a factual and objective perspective where "right" proves a fact and "wrong" does not prove a fact.

 

When dealing with a more subjective perspective one should consider that there is a reason that one takes a side, has an opinion and thinks the way they do. This can change but at the time of it's realization an opinion is right because it proves the point of perspective.

 

Thus, whenever someone states an opinion they are right and everyone else is wrong by default. This is different for every person out there.

I find Vynl Scratch to be kind of overrated. She's just a dj who doesn't even appear as much as the other popular background ponies. I do however like the fanon of her and Octavia being roommates.

"First world problems" is a legit problem. Not everyone has, or ever will, experience some of the worse things out there. We cannot possibly relate our lives to those they do happen to. We've got sympathy and empathy and whatnot but to any person who has one of these "first world problems" they are pretty harmful to the well-being or mental state of that person and you should never discredit someone's pain no matter the scale. Some problems are more easily solved than others but that doesn't change how someone feels about something.

They tend to be popular as you can do more with them, and they are not as directly tied to the main series. Writing about derpy or Dr. Hooves allows alot more creative freedom, as you do not have to constrain them to a already developed character.

It allows alot more creative freedom than lets say....the mane 6. They have established characters, as shown in the show and movie. They are created to act a certain way. And you can challenge the "fandom" idea of an established character, but for the mane 6, or a character that appears frequently in the show you cannot as they have a cannon character archetype, and must and will conform to that archetype.

the brotherhood of steel should have retaken helios1 in fallout new vegas

 

the Spartans were better than the romans

 

Xbox 360 and PS2 were both better than PS3, PS4, and Xbox one

 

grownups 2 was a good movie

I agree with all expect the Star Wars one and I do agree somewhat the prequels are good,but Attack of the Clones added nothing to the saga plotline,but I do agree that Original trilogy sucked because I believe that Episode 6 wasn't a good pay off to the trilogy Edited February 13, 2014 by COBLoneWolf

Here's one, I don't like Les Miserables. I found it boring and long with no break in between songs for dialogue so i had trouble even following the plot. I'll admit some of the songs are okay but I'm too busy nearly falling asleep to really care for them.

Music today isn't worse today than it was in the 2000s. People in 2005 were saying that 2000s music was worse than '90s music, the 90's said the same thing about the '80s etc.

 

Call of Duty isn't dying. There isn't any real competition for it.

 

I don't care about realism in most games. I'm not talking about Borderlands 2 unrealistic, but I don't mind not having a 1 shot kill in CoD on every weapon.

 

One Direction is awful.

 

Led Zeppelin isn't good.

 

I can't stand PewDiePie.

 

I don't care if ideas, especially in video games, are copied from another game (See: Battlefield 4 Domination). I care if it is good.

 

I think the Wii U is a failure.

 

I can't stand fanboys. If you like something, then that doesn't make you have to defend every thing about it. This goes for especially Nintendo fanboys, who can't take a single fact about their god-console. Same goes for other companies and services.

 

Sonic is way better than Mario.

 

Mario games are repetitive, and just rehashed every year with some exceptions.

 

I like Knuckles' Sonic Boom design.

 

DLC is actually good for games.

 

Weed is bad.

 

iPhones are overrated.
