Evilshy 5,090 December 31, 2011 Share December 31, 2011 Why, experimented with homemade napalm, of course! Styrofoam soaked in gasoline makes a crude sort of napalm. It doesnt burn as long as real napalm, but it achieves he same purpose, which is to make gas stick to things. I made a burning chain whip 5 Signature now 99% less edgy! Swoop 2,278 January 1, 2012 Share January 1, 2012 (edited) Well, 'Napalm B' is essentially composed of about 50% Polystyrene and 20% benzene, with the remainder being gasoline. Seeing as styrofoam is actually a trademark for expanded polystyrene, and benzene is a product of gasoline, Its not surprising you were able to replicate the properties of napalm pretty well! Its probably a good thing the stuff doesn't burn for too long, since crude or otherwise, the jelly substance has a nasty habit of deoxygenating the available air and generating large amounts of carbon monoxide / carbon dioxide. Im not too much of a fire lover myself, but It sure sounds like an interesting little experiment. Edited January 1, 2012 by Swoop

Evilshy 5,090 January 2, 2012 Author Share January 2, 2012 We are all on terrorist watch lists now, aren't we? Well, I probably am, at any rate. But it's not like I'd actually do anything sinister with it. It's just a useful skill if the world goes to hell all of a sudden. You never know when you might need something sticky and flammable. Also, did you know you can just go out and buy saltpeter? Stump remover you can buy at hardware and gardening stores is usually just saltpeter. blew my mind when I found that out. It was awesome. Slendermane 477 January 2, 2012 Share January 2, 2012 (edited) This thread is a useful guide for the zombie apocalypse. Always remember to aim for the head, and don't let yourself get surrounded or cornered. Added Or just a guide for post-apocalyptic wastelands in general. It is always useful to know where to find saltpeter. (Seriously, I had no idea it was that easy to find.)
