MLP: FiM abridged series' - Which is the best?

So, in the time waiting for SEASON 3 to arrive, I've been watching some abridged episodes.

Two abridged series' have caught my eye for the great humor and alternate plotlines.

 

Mentally Advanced series.

 

Friendship is Witchcraft.

 

 

I want to know which one is thought to be best (I love them both!)

Why?

Are there any more decent abridged series' I'm missing?

If so, please leave a note for me!

I like the Mentally Advanced Series. It has to date made me laugh more. Plus, it has the awesome Rainbow Dash Presents series part of it. FiW is ok because it has it's own songs, but it just doesn't seem as funny. Also, the characters in MAS are more memorable.

If I had to choose one it would defiantly be friendship is witchcraft. They are very creative when it comes to making an abridged series of MLP. For starters the dialogue is always a treat and what makes it better is that there are subtle jokes in each episode. They also have original songs that I always find my self singing every now and again. Pinkie's Brew, Princess of the Night, and Gypsy's Bard to only name a couple.

I gotta admit, RDP is pretty good, especially 'Captain Hook the Biker Gorilla' & 'Haunting Nightmare'

Sweetie's big race is awesome too, I think Gypsy Bard has gotta be the best though, yeah!

M.A.S Needs some songs...They've done them in the RDP series.

Friendship is Witchcraft, it's not even a contest: awesome songs, awesome voice acting and the characters are just as engaging as the originals, sometimes even more so (Sweetie Bot, Gypsie Pie and Cult Leader Fluttershy among others). The first episodes are a little bit awkward but most of them are great.

Although I like FiW, I can't really call it much of an abridged series, because the episodes are nearly the full length of a regular episode of FiM. To me, FiW is more or less a redub, so I can't say it's my favorite ABRIDGED series.

 

My favorite abridged series would have to be MLP: The Ultimate Abridged Series. The way that the characters are recast is just hilarious. And I love the constant, oddball references.

I haven't seen much of FiW, only the first episode. However, the mentally abridged series is epic! I'm also a great fan of Rainbow Dash Presents, mostly their Rainbow Factory Captain hook the biker gorilla.

I like both series. FiW has it's own songs that are pretty darn catchy. Saw a couple of episodes but I really like 'em.

 

The Mentally Abridged series are pretty good too.

 

I can't really choose which one is better so why not "both?"

Both are good but the Mentally Advanced Series is better imo.. I like the voice actors on MAS more, and the jokes are hilarious. I also love the personalities they gave to the mane 6.

YOU MUST CHECK THE MENTALLY ADVANCED SERIES!!

It is awesome.....And has 2 voice actors, with so many different voices!

 

Note: The Gals are voiced by guys and vice versa.

Dude! Check them NOW, FiW is almost like a re-made episode (Length and quality)

Mentally Advanced Series is like taking MLP: FiM, turning it upside down, shooting every voice-actor in Hasbro. then getting the cleaner to voice it...It's hilarious and well-voiced...By two guys!

True, FiW is probably better edited. (RainCloud)

MAS is probably has more constant humor, and clever humor too. It's editting isn't so hot though, just re-split scenes and pic's over the front a couple of times..

Yeah! Sweetie Bot is pretty awesome, MAS does have 'Demon' Sweetie though (Sweetie is possessed by 'Thrackerzod, lord of hell and Geometry) They're in no way similar other than the fact they're both based on Sweetie...They are completely different, BELIEVE ME! ^-^

Mentally advanced has best Rainbow Dash. Witchcraft has best Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack and Sweetiebot. Pinkie is awesome in both (her characterization in Witchcraft is WAY more well known, and sings orphan songs, but would Witchcraft Pinkie actually sing a love song to Rainbow just to get her to actually go into her basement so that the story of Cupcakes is actually a retelling of the story of Cupcakes? Also, Mentally Advanced Pinkie's accent.

 

I'm calling this a tie. I think Mentally Advanced is funnier and more random and Rainbow Dash Presents epic, but Witchcraft has a better storyline, characterization (besides Rainbow) and music. Voice acting varies (sure, the main girl who does Witchcraft is actually a girl, but I love fimflamfilosophy's voice, and they both have their strong points and characters). It all depends on your personal tastes.

 

BTW, why doesn't Mentally Advanced post any abridged videos anymore? It's all Rainbow Dash Presents, which is epic as I've said (particularly Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory) but I want MOAR Mentally Advanced stuff too....

I absolutely adore "Friendship is Witchcraft"!!! To be fair, I haven't seen "The Mentally Advanced Series," and I might check that one out, but "Friendship is Witchcraft" is about as perfect as any abridged series gets!!! I'd also highly recommend Chunkboi's "My Little Team Fortress" series; it's not the longest or most consistently made series, but it's a very entertaining and hilarious series! P.S. After reading a couple of the other posts, I have a question; is "The Mentally Advanced Series" the Rainbow Dash Presents series that redoes fan fiction stories like "Cupcakes"? Because if so, I have seen that series, it is hilarious (especially Rainbow Dash!!!), but I still like "Friendship is Witchcraft" more.
