Is this game available for Mac?

 

System Requirements

 

  • 2 GB ram
  • dual core processor, somewhere near 2 GHz. A single core processor works, but is not recommended. SSE2 is required (pretty much anything after 2005)
  • an okay graphics card. generally if the computer is made after 2007, you'll be fine. The bare minimum would probably be 128 MB vram, DirectX9.0c/OpenGL2.0
  • 1.5 gigabytes of hard drive space
  • OS: windows, mac osx, or linux

 

Oh yeah, and I'll likely be in, hope they wont have the terrible login issues like they did last time it was open.

The hardest part about getting on so far has been the re-capatcha on the forum registration >_>

I've also just realized all the names of locations are slightly different. Cloudopolis, ponydale, sugarcane corner...

That's for legality reasons. If it looks like pony, if it smells like pony, no issue. If it sounds like pony, we've got a problem. All the users in the game call them the normal though ^^ So no worries.

Of course they have an open weekend on the busiest weekend I've had in months. They clearly planned it this way.  :okiedokielokie:

The servers are now open!

 

For anyone interested, we're going to have scheduled meetups throughout the weekend where we can all meet each other and chat, as well as friend each other so we can keep in touch throughout the game. If you'd like to attend, feel free to show up at any of the times listed below, though if you can make it to the mane meetup, that would be preferable.

 

Official Schedule:

Mane Meetup Time: Friday at 8pm ET

Subsequent Meetup Times: Everyday at 4pm ET and 8pm ET

Meetup Place: Ponydale Schoolhouse

Server: Piaffe

 

If Piaffe is full, we'll use the following servers, starting from the top.

  1. Croupade
  2. Levade
  3. Cerebrate
  4. Capriole
  5. Courbette
Don't feel obligated to show up at each meetup, just try to make the mane one if you can. I just arranged those times so that if you miss one, you still have a chance to show up at another.
 

Directions to the Schoolhouse:

When you first start the game, you will be placed in an area relevant to your race. For example, unicorns will be placed in Cantermore. To get to the Ponydale Schoolhouse, you have to find a warp to Ponydale. I'm not sure about the other places, but if you arrive in Cantermore, just walk straight and you'll arrive at the train station which will have a warp to Ponydale.

 

Once you arrive in Ponydale, if you are at the train station, walk straight until you see a path to the right. Follow it to the cave, and you should see the schoolhouse in the distance. If you arrive elsewhere, I think you'll have to head toward the west. In any case, it's a red building off to the side of town. It shouldn't be hard to find.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there and I hope you all enjoy the game!

 

By the way, one of my characters is a unicorn named Apple Flower, so if you see that name, it's probably me.

Is once again in open beta, and I will have to say Equestria is looking beautiful as ever. I would have to believe that with the launch at babscon, and the decent turnout DHX/Hasboro could look into possibly adding some of our trademarked favorites,  with chores and quest lines, and instances formed around notorious villians we have come to know and love from the show. I just see potential in the platform, just from the stage one sand box I am already quickly falling in love with. Anyways, didnt really post to talk about these facts and ideas, just touching base, I am just here to talk LOE in general, and I was actually more interested in seeing if anypony was currently or planned on playing, and that wanted to possibly do a little RP, or just make the sand box a little more fun while we have Equestria at our hooves for the weekend. :)

As do I, they are doing it mainly for the sake of the convention I do believe. The game does definatley need a lot of work, but it's smart on their part to show case their idea and progress, especially with reps from Hasboro spectating. The idea is golden, and the violence is nothing beyond cartoon. The world of Equestria looks beautiful, and they have found a way to split diverse talents to each Pegasus, Earth Pony and Unicorn. If they made it free to play, with a cheap virtual store, it would be a cash cow, especially if they ended up getting the Hasboro tag. It would be worth them buying, the character creation, is fun, yet another MMO that surpasses Warcrafts garbage character custom. You can model after your favorite pony, make your OC, a lot of visual diversity in that respect. I see a lot of future potential for Legends of Equestria, and I think if it was Hasboro approved, and featured our lovable ponies, and had the marketing expertise of Hasboro, this could turn into a much larger thing, looking at this fandom, and the lengths we take it to, expressing our art, and just sharing the sense of community in general. We could take the role play to Equestria for real, we could enjoy things to do in Equestria at all times, with this idea.
