I'm so angry! I downloaded the 64bit version yesterday only to find out that it's bugged and only the 86bit version works! :/

Well 64-bit is a little bugged, but a lot of people have been going inside the SCC and then it crashed on them for a buggy reason. I'm not entirely sure what else is there that's bugged. When I waltzed inside to the SCC, it just crashed on me and creators said that they're working on fixing the bug for 64-bit. I run the game on 64-bit because I have windows 7 64-bit running right now.

 

I don't know what server you guys in, but I'm looking forward in looking for you guys.

How long did it take you to load the cutie marks, items, etc.?

Everything is included, at least for me on the Linux torrented client  

Or my internet is so blazing-fast I never noticed any loading  :comeatus:

 

Also, meetup times... are a bit inconvenient for those living in the EU or further east.

For me they start at midnight/4am

 

Anypony from the Old World wanna meet up at more reasonable times, maybe same times but in GMT?  

Case someone gets confused (pfft) with the timezones and such, here's a handy converter

I tried this game, about 15 times due to crashes.  Found a quest to pick up 15 rocks.  I suppose its not bad but the unicorn skills need tooltips.  There is one spell called rainbow fields that makes a circle with flowers in it on the ground.  Other than looking interesting I dont know what its meant to do.  Teleport is very nice.

That spell is either healing your allies or damaging enemies.

Cant remember clearly, but I remember I used it on the last test in the gem mines to combat %enemy

Is anyone on it right now? because we could meet up soon but the game is taking ages to download since I've got crap internet where i am right now. (Holiday)

 

And i think it might lag for me since i'm using my netbook but i will try

Will this game work with a nividia GeForce gt 610 (it has direct x 11 don't know if that is important) will the game run smoothly with it?

It should. I'm using a laptop with integrated graphics and it works fine. I'm having problems with the 64 bit version though. It keeps crashing. First it was when entering Sugarcube Corner, and now at the Gem Mines. I'm not sure if it's an issue with that version or just bugs in the game, but I'm going to try out the 32 bit version.

System Requirements please I want to know my PC can handle this game

The website for the game says that these are the requirements:

  • 2 GB ram
  • Dual core processor, somewhere near 2 GHz. A single core processor works, but is not recommended
  • An okay graphics card. If the computer is made after 2007, you'll be fine. The bare minimum would probably be 128 MB vram, DirectX9.0c/OpenGL2.0
  • 1.5 gigabytes of hard drive space
  • OS: Windows, Mac OSX, or Linux

Looks like I've stumbled over this topic just in time...the Mane Meetup is in about half an hour right?

Well, it wasn't much of a turnout and it was so dark, I could barely see you guys, but I think I added you both as friends. I don't know if it's possible to do quests together. I think it would be fun if we could, but maybe we can at least contact each other.

I use mac. i'm already logged in but i need to go through the server listing and it takes forever.

Once you get on the server and stay on, the game is great! I flew around with my Pegasus and it was awesome to get to see flowing rainbows and Ponyville! I highly recommend everyone take a peek at least. 

I will say that if you don't choose a server with a lower ping you'll have a lot of connection issues. Even with a 50 ping on one of them I disconnected about 5 times within 10 minutes. So be aware it's still got bugs, but it's nice to fly around and the combat isn't terrible.

Just a little note: you probably don't wanna use the same password to register for Legends of Equestria that you use anywhere else.  The site doesn't seem to use any encryption at all. =/

 

As for the game itself...  Well I basically got to run around for a few minutes, get frequently disconnected, and then get stuck loading Sugarcube Corner for 10+ minutes before I decided to close it.

Looks promising, and seems they might actually avoid Hasbro's wrath this time around.
