Views on Clopfiction

Personally I believe if people like it then more power to them, personally I don't look because pony vagina in a jpeg format isn't my thing. In my opinion Clopfic is just like any piece of media so if it's good I'll take a look, and if it is good I'll read on. (Suppose that's why we all watch MLP, because it's a well made show).

Some clopfics can be pretty graphic but lately ive been into the ones that have a nice romantic reasoning. When i say "into" i dont mean get off to. They are just interesting reads is all.

I dont see why it matters what other people do in private in the comfort of their own home. Im not a clopper but I have read a few clopfics and some of the romantic ones are surprisingly well written so my veiws on clop fiction is the same as all other fan fiction, If it is good and reasonably written I will read it.

I love clopfiction, even when it isn't nessicarily "clopable" material, it is often better literature than your average fanfiction

It runs the gamut.  What Would Daring Do? has a rather steamy scene, but nobody (who knows what they're talking about) calls it clop. Just like Black Swan has

, but nobody calls it porn.

 

At the end of the day, "clop" is simply people juxtaposing one more universal aspect of humanity onto the very human characters that they already love.

It really depends on the fic. If you are talking about something like Twi and Me, then no, I do not enjoy reading it. But, as I enjoy shipfics, I don't care if it has clop scenes in it, as long as it is an enjoyable read.

Yes, I have no problem with clopfics. If they're poorly written or really freaky, no thanks, but there are plenty out there with class and genuine emotion. (TAW is a good author to check out.)

I have no problem with clop fictions even if they are creepy. Doesn't really matter to me, besides I don't judge fan fictions at all.

As a guy who has read a lot of fanfiction and written quite a bit, I can say that I don't really mind clopfics, as they really are just romantic or purely sexual fics that every other fandom also has. I can't tell you how many times I've read through Ed, Edd, n' Eddy fics that were just raunchy as sin...

 

Regardless, I have only read three, count 'em, three pony fanfics. I did say that I read a lot of fanfiction and have written some, but for some odd reason pony fiction doesn't interest me.

 

I can't remember the name of the fic, but I did read a really charming Appledash fic that had a bit of sexual stuff at the end, and it was freaking awesome. So I can't judge at all, and I actually understand why some would like it.

I'm currently skimming through "Sophistication And Betrayal" (Rarity-x-human (told from second-person perspective)), which hits the lottery in terms of character development; I just make sure to fast-forward through any......deep moments, so to speak.

Yeah, what prompted me to bump this thread was The Wind Beneath Her Wings which is a TwiDash fic by TAW. Before I had tried it, I'd assumed clop was just badly written clop material. Clearly I was wrong.
