I'm downloading into early access as we speak. I'll be checking out what fits best. My main in the last GW was a Ranger Mesmer, but if they have something similar to the Aion SpiritMaster class, I'm THERE on that one. And will probably second a Mesmer. *Shrug* Part of the joy of playing, figuring your favorite combo I guess, but I look forward to seeing everyone in game! I'll figure out my toon and then contact someone. Whoever's in charge. Who would that be, would it be Bohtty? Because I'm totally in if you'll have me! <3

Awesome! I think I'll be awhile though. It's crankin away at 3.5 megs a sec, but GAWD this game is HUGE to download XD In the meantime, I'm doing my character research. So far I'm thinking Sylvari (They're purty) or Norn (They can turn into snow leopards! *_*) I haven't decided yet though. *Shrugga*

 

Also, in doing my research, I noticed that they axed the monk, dervish, and assassin classes! I loved my whirling Dervish...And also, who's going to do the HEALING?! (>@_@<)

............MMO Blasphemy! What do you mean "Everyone can heal themselves"? Like, we have monk skills? We can't ALL be monks, that would just be CRAZY! Then suddenly we'd have Necromancers running around properly healing their little minions like Necro/monks did in the last game, but without having to have the subclass! That would be cheating....

There also isn't any sub classes either. So far I think the game is good, but it definitely needs fucking mounts, walking is a pain.

Yeah I am in Dragonbrand so I hope they work on fixing it soon, I am almost out of heart tasks to do for the area I am in and I already found all the vistas, some pretty difficult to get to. I am not saying I am getting board of exploring, but it would be nice to fight some PC's instead of NPC's for a change.

I don't know how to do regular PVP for WVW there is just a button in the top left but there is no button for pvp or I just have not seen it. I think the guild interface is awesome also, it is so cool that you can purchase upgrades for your guild and level it up. I like it a lot.

The pvp button is in your hero menu(h) go to pvp and there is a button that says something like "go to the mist" or something "mist" xD its in the top left.

 

I actually don't like the guild menu.

It doesn't notify anyone when a person joins or logs on/off

the permissions for ranks are very week (ie: I can't set bank quotes and I can only specify bank by stash and by treasure so I don't get much control) I also don't like that people only see your guild tag, kinda defeats the purpose of the name imo.

The upgrades are pretty neat though. I can agree to that.

 

Overall I think that the guild menu just isn't very intuitive or well designed. The concepts and ideas are good, it just could have been implemented better I think.

 

Also, what is up with the damn movement controls lol? It's so unintuitive. My character takes like 10 hours to make a 90 degree turn. It's like driving a car. That is why I haven't done any pvp. This kind of controls are fine for WoW type games, but when your aim matters its probably one of the worst movement schemes you could have. (not to mention 2 dodges. Are you kidding me anet?)

So far GW2 combat is only right above WoW in terms of entertainment.

Right clicking moves the camera not your character. Now if it rotated your character as well, then we would be talking.

The game is brand new, but the movement is so basic and core to the game that it should have been solved way back in alpha.

Left clicking rotates your camera not your character, right clicking rotates your character but you have to be moving.
