Well i created it but the wiki was down. I had to wing it instead. I hope I made the right choices. I quite liked the into cut scene though so I think so.

On the server as I post this.

 

And you have to hold the right mouse button and you can turn your character and the camera, that's how all mmo's are.

Yeah I don't even use wasd half the time, I just click both rmb and lmb and my character walks where I want it to.

I do that when I'm lazy and don't feel like using the keyboard. I'll mostly use wsad along with the mouse because you have greater movement capabilities that way.

I agree i use the same thing, i have a razer mouse, that has all my skills in the side, it works great

Guild invites cannot be sent at this time. Additionally, some players who were in guilds have been kicked and cannot be reinvited. We're investigating.

Yay... more problems... just what we needed. Diablo III wasn't this bad at launch was it? Though the game actuality hasn't launched yet it would have to be a miracle for everything to be fixed my then.

It seems like they've been fixing stuff at a decent rate. I know at the midnight launch parties were just nigh of un-usable, so they're working on it. My moneys on everything being smooth as silk come tuesday at teh VERY latest.

Arenanet did away with the holy trinity, now every class can tank, dps, and heal if they so choose. INOVATIONS... INOVATIONS EVERYWHERE!

 

OH GOD, AN ELEMENTALIST TANK?! MY WORLD IS SPINNING!!!! @_@ Where's the squishy?! *faints* BUT seriously. I like being able to play an Ele and not DIE first hit, or cower in a corner and go "Don't hit me! *fireball* don't hit me! *Rain of fire* Don't hit me! *Fire blast* *...peek* Are you dead yet?" Kinda nice.

 

But Bohtty, I SO VERY MISS the secondary class system I LOVED being a Ranger/SOMETHING. That was awesome, and honestly kinda made GW1 what it was combat system wise...There was a lot of strategy involved. But I suppose when they added the crazy "Hey, when you change weapons, your skills change!" thing in, they probably figured we'd kill them if we could dual class that. Far TOO complicated.

 

But one thing I take serious issue with is the inability to shuffle your skills on your skill bar. If I don't want skill one in slot one, By god I should be able to move skill one into slot two. : So far it won't let me shuffle things around ._. Anyone figured if you can even do it? Or is it something you have to do by unlocking a level? It's obnoxious. I chain skills by arranging stuff on my bar properly...Comes from too much Aion. Blame NCSoft. <<

I sort of miss the second class system as well. My dervish character was so much fun back in the day. Well, at least this system is easier to ballence, and truth be told, its impressive they could ballence guild wars 1. There were like 144 combinations to ballence.

 

I don't think there is a way to shift your skills around though. As an engineer, this isn't really a big deal for me, but for an elements list this could be annoying.

The first 3 skills are dependent on what weapon you hold in your main hand, and the other 2 skills are dependent on what weapon you hold in your off hand, and you cannot change these around. The skills 7-0 are dependent on what you spent you skill points on and you can change those around as much as you want.

Ya i agree, with bunny and celtore the dual classes was great, but i like how they did the class here, and with bronynonymous but after awhile the some skills just get a bit boreing.

The game won't actually let me build anything so I'll have to get Lowfatenvelope or RKA to do it.

The guild system is incredibly bugged.

Guys I just 100% the Caledon Forest Map. You get some amazing stuff from it. You get green items which are 1 rare level above blue items. You also could get Transmutation Stones which allows you to change the appearence of an item to another item while keeping its weapon stats.

I did that as well. Sadly, I got almost nothing I could use. Just some green wood for crafting and the transmutation stones. Do you know the full order of item rarities?

The guild system is definitely borked atm. I'm at over 50% on my map atm I think... Good to hear you're well rewarded for exploration

Iv already, finshed two areas, and my main city, you get a load of EXP to when you compleat an area, im starting to work on my third one.

Im about done with Queensdale, which is the human starter zone. Got about a few more points of interest and I should have it.

I'm thinking about rolling a different ranger too. The human starter is rather boring for PvE, and I think a Sylvari Ranger would make more sense.

Also, since they're born from trees; Fluttertree references.

We have to buy the bank space, unfortunately we have emblem queued which is a 24hour wait then we need to get an upgrade in Architecture THEN we can get the most basic guild bank or "guild stash". Edited August 27, 2012 by Bohtty
