Do you think Twilight has OCD?

It honestly would not surprise me with how crazy she can act sometimes. I would say she falls into the Doubters and Sinners category of OCD. Here's an explanation of what that type of OCD she may have from Transformations Treatment Center. "OCD patients who suffer from doubt or sin obsessions may appear silly or irrational, but their symptoms are characterized by an immense and excessive fear that if their performance is less than perfect, they might be punished severely." In my opinion, this explains a lot of Twilight's more crazy behavior in the earlier seasons. Now that I'm thinking about it, she didn't have her mental breakdowns nearly as much in the later seasons. Maybe she got it under control or something like that? anyway, that's just my personal head cannon hehe.

I know this was a long time ago but I HAD to reply.

To those saying that OCD (if she even has it) is a "cute" trait of hers or is what makes up her entire personality, please STOP it

OCD is a real mental disorder that takes control of your life, it is nothing to fetishize. And while it can erode one's sense of identity, it's not who they are.

As for my personal opinion on this matter (and as an individual who is very likely to have OCD), there is a difference between perfectionism and obsessive compulsion. Twilight seems to enjoy what she does and takes a liking into it. It seems to be perfectionism. I will add that OCD isn't fun. I don't think anyone with OCD takes a liking to their compulsions.
The things Twilight supposedly places perfectly are just placed with a single try, she does not have checking compulsions over symmetry or anything like that. If you're going to tell me "Well, when she moved out of the castle, she checked the rooms a lot", that's the stress of moving out. We know how Twilight get, but it doesn't necessarily equal to OCD.

She probably has anxiety and not an illness. I don't mean to sound rude but OCD's compulsions would lead to breakdowns, and it just doesn't happen with Twilight. Sure, she had a few breakdowns; Even those in good mental health can have breakdowns. Although, perfectionism or anxiety ≠ OCD. These are frequent misconceptions..

Yes! I believe she has some serious mental issues. Especially when under pressure, which makes her unfit for her role. Imagine if something happened. Yeah, that would be terrible... if something happened. I think she should be locked up immediately. And maybe make rainbow dash the queen of all equestria. It sounds reasonable to me.

All...my...yes!!!

See here's what people often miss. MLP:FIM, is a very "real" show, in the sense that every character has something to overcome. For Twilight, it is absolutely apparent she has OCD, and it's very real. Sometimes, it can cause a lot of problems, especially when she is under pressure. I have a lot of sources for that...like...

A Canterlot Wedding: There was so much to do to plan and the fact that Chrysalis was disguised as Cadence made things worse, and it caused Twilight to cave in and accuse the wrong Cadence (the real one), hence why everyone walked away from her and she ended up imprisoned.

The Movie: Canterlot was under attack and Twillight was so focused on getting a single item that would save her friends, family and beloved Equestria, that she forgot about her friends. We all know the cycle: She tries to steal the item getting her and her friends banished from the Hippogiff Kingdom, Twilight yells at Pinkie telling her off, everyone walks away from Twilight leaving her wide open for the taking and she's imprisoned by Tempest.

My point is, it's a sad reality because Twilight is quite hard on herself because of her own faults and issues. We can see this through her stress over situations like the Crystal Empire...and even the opening episodes to the show itself.
