craft My first custom desktop

Hi guys, here is a simple background i made, sorry if its too simple, but I don't have anything amazing to make photos with, stuck with paint, which I am pretty good with, this is a good desktop for a widescreen computer.

 

As always, critique is always appreciated!

but all joking aside, you should use it as a pimping signature its really good, especially for a first, but you should look into desktop dimensions.

For an even awesomer desktop, try making the dimensions 1024x768 or 1920x1080 for a better quality for laptops and such.

One pointer though would be to try and use less colour. In my opinion (and only mine) the mane, tail, cutie mark and background all create an overpowering effect on the eyes. Dark elements could also be used for the background to instead allow RD and her CM to 'pop' out of the screen.

But other than that a very good job, well done
