Is it wrong that I'm only interested in clopfics?

As a bronie I feel compelled to read fanfic of mlp much like everything I like. Let me assure everypony that I am not nor will I ever be a clopper, with that said is it wrong that the only type of fanfic that I am willing to read are clop fics? I do not find them arousing in any way but I do find them interesting to read. I would also like to say that is it wrong that I seem to enjoy the gridmark/gory fanfic the most I want to know

There's nothing wrong with being interseted in reading those sorts of things, mate. It's just personal preference of reading material, and everyone has their own favorite types of books. It doesn't make you "weird" just because you so happen to like a genre that not many others do - literature in any genre can be beautifully written.

What it comes down to is I found them interesting and funny because of this guy on YouTube called azekahh because he just does reading mlp fanfic for the most part, the fact that he acts out things vividly makes it funny to hear ?

Btw, what do you mean when you say clopfic? Do you mean clopfics as in the ones where the characters treat each other like breathless sex dolls? Or do you mean the more romantic ones where they actually do it to make the other feel good and not just themselves? Because in my opinion, I don't think that the more romantic ones are clopfics; I think those are just romantic love stories with a sex scene. Meanwhile the other kind, I don't think deserves a romance tag at all.

 

Just because it has a sex scene, doesn't make it automatically deserve a romance tag. There needs to be feelings between the characters involved for it to deserve the romance tag, or it's just pornography, and pornography ain't supposed to be romantic.

 

 

Sorry for that little rant right there, but anyway, as I said earlier, no, I don't think it's wrong for whichever kind you read; you're not hurting anybody. Sure, expect people to find it a little creepy, but at the end of the day, at least you're not, like, going out and stabbing people.

Well, a good fan fiction/ creepypasta that I read was called, "the cymbol dragon", I like it a bunch cause the writer doesn't really alter the ponies' personalities at all, he just puts Fluttershy in a really, really messed up position. There is gore elements as in some ponies die, but it doesn't go to the extremes most creepypastas do, the dreaded "grimdark" fan fics. But yeah, that's my suggestion... Oh, you didn't talk about suggestions... Well, I don't personally care what you read, it's your life, what you do with it doesn't affect me, so go for it.

When I said clop fic I meant clop fic not the romantic ones although strangely enough the other day I did read a romantic one it was actually really good. Just to prove I read clop fics last night I read one about I can't quite the remember the story but I do remember that somewhere along the lines fluttershy was Luna's sex slave, that should be answer enough

i think reading anything is fine. if you enjoy reading it, then read it! i think too many people don't read ever at all, so the fact that you are reading anything is a great thing. who cares what it is. its just text.

 

i don't particularly ilke it. in fact i really don't like it at all, but i don't care if you read it. it's none of my business to be honest.

Odd thing is i agree with this guy, i don't read too many fanfics, but clopfics to me are hilarious, i skip the sexual parts ( Which in my opinion are disgusting ) but they have given me such a laugh, more than any fanfic has ever given me. its all a matter of taste really. But i dont plan on EVER clopping to one.

I always tend to question the oft stated "They don't arouse me in any way, I just find them interesting". If that were the case, why is it you only read clop-fics in the first place? If certain parts didn't "Interest" you, why would you not want to read stories without them? Keep in mind that this post is coming from an erotic fiction author, and I am in no position to say reading anything is wrong after the things i have written.

My view on ClopFics: I believe it is fine for people to 'enjoy' ClopFics because they are reading about a character of equal intelligence, for example 50 shades of gray its a fictional book about... well I think we all should know or at least have an idea on what it is about... Anyhow books like that 'appeal' to people and they are mostly fictional, like My Little Pony ClopFics they are fictional and intelligent like humans so I believe there is no real difference between a ClopFic and a non-pony related books that have sexual themes (besides the fact they are ponies).

 

NOTE: I do not enjoy ClopFics because they do not appeal to me in any way, I just think it is ok for other who enjoy them to read them freely...

Clopfics are nothing more than romance stories with shippings, but in most cases. There's nothing wrong with reading a story about Romeo and Juliet now is it? Though I find it weird for stories to be very suggestive and I prefer to read ones that are less descriptive, such as "On a Cross and Arrow" or "The Desire of the Loneliest Heritage", but "On a Cross and Arrow isn't really a clopfic. Though it is a genderswitched story type of thing.

Clopfics....I've learnt through experience that the well-written, decent length ones are usually worth a shot. I won't ever, nor even could I, clop to them, but I think it's fine to read and enjoy them as whatever ypu want to.

 

Gorefics? Yes. Gotta love them as long as they aren't poorly written (that's a vice...)

Now i don't really like any of them, but i have read a few, the first by accident, then a couple more to know what peoples views are. But I haven't really cared for them.

It's not wrong i suppose if your not clopping... IDK how ponies are sexy, I don't care if people say ponies are hot, there is a difference

So it's really just how you handle yourself i suppose.
