wish there was a way for me to find out if there was any bronies at my college or in my area, but some how i doubt there will be any.

 

You could put up posters about a meeting or something somewhere? Or maybe that would call people there that isn't really into it and lots of people wouldn't be allowed to come cause of their parents. But you could always try

well, you probably are going to hate me for this, but this is 100% your fault, if you get bullied for this it's your responsabily, not your teacher, because someone go to school to learn and pay attention and not to browse the forums. I don't blame you for feeling that you wanted to beat up your teacher though, that's completely understandable.

Of course i won't "Hate" you for this as i think "Hate" Is a very strong word. But i think that i in the future will understand this was completely my fault. And you kind of help me understanding this. But i still think it was 50% my teachers fault.

Today during my Swedish lesson i was checking the forums when. My teacher see that i am watching the forums and yells out in the classroom.

"Walter! My Little Pony is not a part of this lesson!". Well i can agree that it was a little stupid of me checking the forums during lessons. But i have been telling almost everyone in my grade that i'm a brony. But there are some people i haven't told, of obvious reasons. For example the people i knew where going to bully me for this.

At that moment i felt i just wanted to beat my teacher up.

Yes, I hate that feeling when it feels like the teacher is "Targeting" you only. And focusing all off her bad words and stuff at you. The same thing is always happening to me on my spanish lesson when im sitting and working on my computer (though im not allowed to) and she is telling me to turn my computer off. And then behind me the most annoying kid in school sits with his computer and the teacher is protecting him when i ask why she doesn't tell him to turn his computer off. Those kind of things make me SO angry.

I really hate it when teachers just completely disregard any sort of consequence of their own actions.

Even though it probably wasn't an appropriate time to be browsing the forums, it doesn't make it appropriate for a teacher to effectively paint a student with bully juice.

 

All the computers at my school had a system in place where the teacher could communicate with any of the computers in the room with a simple pop-up message saying whatever they want.

It's far more effective and secretive than shouting across the classroom.

Well, we have our own MacBooks that we got from school so they don't have any kind of that system as they are a lot for private use too. It feels good that you can have a computer in school totally for yourself though and never be afraid a teacher will come and look up your private life.

Yeah if one of my teachers saw that, they'd flip there lid. My school is just paranoid about everything... I was yelled at for closing a window too quick when a teacher was walking by...

dont worry there is no reason why anypony should bully you, dont act nervous, be confident and dont ley anything they say get to you, because they have no reason to make fun of you, and if they do don't get upset as that is the reaction they want, tommorow when you get home post how it went, i'm sure you will get plenty of support from everypony on this forum.

Yeah.... I know the forums are awesome & all but why would you be checking them @ school? Especially when there are others around etc.? Anyways yeah teachers are annoying for the most part :/ there some cool teachers out there.

wow thank you i dont think i deserve the credit it was YOU who had to deal with it not me, just remember to keep your head held high and dont look back ,nothing they will say can effect you, you are who you are and nobody should hate you for that,just keep up this attitude and you can get through it fine and before you know it they will have left you alone. Uuuuugh, I know that feel. In my sophomore and junior years, I had this teacher who just wouldn't EVER give us a break. Then late last year he just gave us a free day in the computer lab. Best surprise ever.

I remember one day during my chemistry, i wanted to call my teacher out. I don't remember exactly how this happened, but we were talking about something related to a lab. I asked him a question about the process of the lab, and since I'm Canadian (but I live in the US) I say PROcess not praw-cess. Imediately after I asked my question, he proceeded to ignore the question and point out to me and the class that it's praw-cess not PROcess. After that I was thinking to myself, teach your damn class and don't worry about the way I pronounce things. It just really bugs me when that happens, because whenever it happens during conversations with people, cthey completely ignore what I said and feel they need to point out my difference in pronunciation.

 

I have also gotten into passionate debates with my history teacher. When we were discussing the Cold War and communism he kept arguing that Socialism and Communism are the same thing. Of course, I have a huge gripe with this because that couldn't be farther from the truth. I also hate how some teachers will get mad and you when you are having a legitimate debate with them and you don't agree with what they are saying. This was one of those teachers, he would get mad at me and tell me that I'm not a teacher so I'm wrong. Idiots, just because you're a teacher doesn't mean you know everything.
