Well if anyones interested in some pony drawing i have an Deviant Art account filled with pony drawings

 

I draw a bit using a tablet and Paint Tool Sai, making pixel-drawings as close to the original style as i can :3

Your pony art's quite impressive. Maybe it's just because I'm not exactly the greatest artist myself, but even your first drawing looks surprisingly close to the FiM style. I really like the direction your style developed in afterwards - the proportions and lineart look just like the show, but the gradiented colouring adds a very neat depth effect to your ponies.

 

Fluttershy's little flower is just precious.

 

Keep up the great work, and do share more of your drawings with us in the future!

Yea i got that it was more for work in progress, and i can start a new tread like that next time im working on something bigger

 

And about my first one, yea its close mostly cus i use a lot of references, and iv used a tablet before doing 3D stuff so i know how the tools work, just my first time drawing something

Yea, my own personal favorite of what i made is really Trixie: A lost reflection. Drawing that drawing really got me to like Trixie, hadn't thought to much about it before, but i feel myself she might be someone insecure deep down, and it was mostly her traveling magician persona she put on that's a bit overdone. But it was not her that started the train of events that derailed i think, its kinda was parts of the cast booing her when she was preforming, and while she could have handled it better she didn't deserve to lose so much and well... i think i'l stop ranting here.

 

Long story short, drawing that piece really got me to liking Trixie and trying to understand her in my own way :3

If I ever do any drawings, it's on good ol' paper. Unfortunately, it doesn't look too good when you have to scan it in and share on the internet.

 

I would like to learn how to create art digitally though.

Well if you have a tablet i say get Paint tool Sai, its what i use and its smoothing function is how i make the long smooth lines, then i just take loads of screenshot as references to get the poses and proportions right and go from there

Im using a

Aiptek SlimTablet 600U Premium II

 

 

Altho it broke down and is currently sent in for warranty, so i have to use my old tablet, a wacom graphire4

 

Its okay, but 4-5 years old and the pes wobbels a bit as its losing sensitivity.... I want my new Tablet back... D:

 

And my old tablet is like 1/3 of the size... its so much harder to make the long smooth lines on it...

Wow, that's some awesome stuff you've got right there! I must agree with Twilight, the depth looks amazing on the otherwise show-esque lines and coloration. I love the design of your OC Zonra as well, especially her mane and tail.
